The New Outlook
The New Outlook seems not to support email.
When I click on it I get: The following accounts and items aren't supported and won't be available in the new Outlook.
It then lists all my email accounts, IMAP, POP, Gmail and Outlook plus On My Computer folders

will be provided at some later undetermined date. MS idea of presentable software.
VERY Disappointed with the New Outlook for MAC. Why would MicroSoft EVER release a version of software that doesn't support the one of the major email format, that's just PPP. Scrum team need to relook at it's priorities and push this issue to the top of the list of requirements for the next release, or many like myself will need to find alternate for Microsoft 365!

This request ought to be moved by the moderators to the 'New Outlook' requests, found at https://outlook.uservoice.com/forums/924856-the-new-outlook-for-mac/suggestions/40585390-use-native-contacts-on-macos#comments
Moderators, if you do that, don't lose the votes already cast!!

This is ridiculous!I am going to cancel my Microsoft 365 subscription.
Outlook 16.42 mac in "new outlook", resend message not working.
From MS support: "Resend" feature is currently not supported in "New Outlook" but is yet to be implemented."

Love the "new outlook" look on my Mac, especially having the calendar details and agenda on my main view without having to swithc to my calendar.
However, not having support for 2 out of my 3 email accounts is a deal breaker for me.
The IMAP/POP email accounts do not work in the new Outlook. Is this a policy of Microsoft or is Microsoft fixing the problem?
The ability to use On My Computer folders is critical for many users - very much hope this is planned for inclusion in the New Outlook in the near future!
6/7 of my accounts are not supported. Is Outlook giving up on email as its primary function? WTH, folks?

4 out of 7 of my email accounts are not supported. Why would I switch?
Can't believe this! Outlook without email! What next? Word without docs? Excel without spreadsheets? This is called PROGRESS.
Same here... I can't switch to "the New Outlook" if I can't get my email. That's, you know... why I use Outlook. MacBook Pro 16".

I won't switch unless it is compatible with my other email accounts that are IMAP/POP.
Microsoft, Please make the new Outlook compatible with Exchange On-Prem!!
this is also a deal breaker for me.
Yes, new Outlook currently only supports Gmail accounts, but they are already working on it. I'm not sure if they intended to remove it for good, but there was a huge backlash, so they'll change it anyway.
Only my Exchange account escapes the notice. My G Suite and "On My Computer folders" emails are both doing this. G Suite already is sub-par in existing Outlook though (emails duplicated in Inbox and Archive).
Hope the lack of support for non-Exchange email is just a beta thing. I have years of archives on the local computer folders and just having one mail client to check for work email isn't something I want to lose.

I won't switch to "the new outlook" until I am sure I won't lose all my email. Anyone find a work around?
