Upon reading email, please mark as read.
When I click on an email and read it, I expect the email to be marked as read. It is not.
Instead, when you close the email, it's marked read. This is not very intuitive.

I wonder how many human-hours are wasted because of the way this is implemented. Does Microsoft hold us in contempt?
Please mark the item as read on click. Have mercy upon us.
As a desktop user when I scroll trough the body of a email in the preview panel, the message is automatically marked as read.
