Outlook Directory Search
When using the search function of the Outlook address book (not the general Outlook search) there are no results found when a search is being initiated based upon the last part of a last name.
Example: When trying to look for a person called Armin van Buuren, it is impossible to find this person when “Buuren” is being used as the search query. It only works when using “van Buuren”.

When searching a directory in windows I can type any word matched in the name.
For example to find a mailing list or resource named "#Room – Dublin Birch" in Windows, I can search for "Dublin" or "Birch" , or "Dublin Birch" and the room will come up. Note the use of em dash (–) and not hyphen (-) in the resource name. Users can search with a hyphen as well and the name is still found.
On a Mac, using Outlook 16.38 (2016?), I must type "#Room –" before the option could be listed. The search seems linear, and requires typing an em dash.
