Please bring back the categories feature in Outlook for Mac.
It difficult to filter out the information while on the Calendar, Notes, Task or Contacts.
At least give the option to filter by Category on list view and collapse group like in Windows Outlook.

I am also missing the categories sort feature. This is how I organize my inbox and not being able to sort by category prompted me to switch back to the old Outlook. Looks like I am not the only one missing this functionality. Please bring it back. I will stay on the old platform as long as possible for this reason alone.

I manage my inbox exclusively using the category feature. Opened my Mac this morning, no more sort by categories. Please explain why you would remove an organizing function. Why even allow me to label with categories, if I can't sort by them? Thank you for ruining my day.

The lack of categories for the cal. feature makes the entire application inferior compared to the most basic calendar apps out there. There are so many amazing things about it, like combining one's email's and different calendars; but not having a basic function of editing categories make the app un-useable. What am I paying for? I can just use the free IOS versions...
I feel like I finally found an app that had everything I needed and yet no categories... Outlook Devs, you're breaking my heart!! Please fix this soon, I will be leaving you next month

Yes, please bring this feature back. I found it extremely helpful in my weekly planning and job process. As a coordinator, I rely heavily on features like this and it has made my weekly schedule viewing less useful since the change. I do hope the developers look at the constructive feedback and realize many people DO use this feature.

Now my calendar is a mess. I have to select a day view to be able to see all the double/triple/quad triple bookings. The calendar is so colorful like a Xmas tree.

Used to like viewing my calendar in the monthly view but without categories monthly viewing is useless. All I can see are projects that are scheduled across multiple days or all day entries. Has caused me to miss due dates on projects just because my calendar is cluttered with entries that I do not need to view all the time!

+1. This is a killer in my case. Utilization of categories in large organizations and being able to select what categories to show in my calendar is a must.

I switched from Office for Mac 2018 to Microsoft 365 for Mac expecting all the features are the same. I am beyond ****** that you would delete the categories in the navigation pane/sidebar in Outlook Contacts for Mac, a very important feature when working with a very large contact list and the very reason why I use Outlook. Now I may have to switch back to Apple Mail. :(

Categorising has to be the simplest and most useful data management feature. Don't tell me - the keyboard return key and space bar are the next on the list to go . . .

This feature is NECESSARY when organizing large numbers of different types of events and appointments within a university! Removing the categories feature was a TERRIBLE IDEA. Please add it again ASAP.

An absolute must have feature. Leaving it out renders the Calendar pretty much useless. What on earth were these guys thinking... it's beyond me.
