Make the insert as text option available when attaching a file
When attaching a file, for example an HTML file, there should be a drop down option like there is on a PC, which allows you to insert the file as text into the body of the email. This will allow HTML emails to be sent from outlook without formatting being messed up and without using a third party email service.

This is an important feature that should already exist for Macs.
How is this still not a thing?!

Please integrate, even if it's an edge case for many people.
MS NEEDS to offer the ability to send html-based emails using code for MAC OSX. This is available on PCs, so why not MAC too? Right now I am using Safari/iMail as a work-around, but then our company is spending over 200.00/Mo with MS Exchange and not getting a full-featured product on our MAC platform.
I agree, same price, less possibilities on Mac OS.
please fix it asap.
Really there should be same features available with Outlook as on the Mac.

Typical MS, short-changing Mac users on apps once again. This needs to be added asap. No excuse for this.
Yes, please do. This is a clear oversight.

YES! This is discrimination against Mac users, feels like we have an inferior product, please enable this feature for all of us!

The fact that it isn't working on Macs is really annoying me!

Yes Please Do this
I agree! Going crazy looking for this option on Mac!
I second this. Outlook is perfectly capable of composing HTML emails and the fact that PC users have this option means that Mac users are getting a sub-par incomplete product for the same price!
