Show time and date for sent emails when moved to a different folder.
When using iMac and MS Outlook, the date and time details for the sent emails do not show up when you move them to a different folder.
Please fix this error.

Please fix this issue, just move over to 365 this week, love to have this fix, as of right now I have all my sent email on my local drive and would love to have it back up on the server and the problem is the date change. please fix soon,
I have hundreds of clients I email weekly, and I keep all email correspondence within their respective folder to keep things organized. When I do this (move emails from general sent to individual folders in my inbox), however, any email that I sent DOES NOT include the time that I sent the email. I chatted with support and they told me to post this here in hopes the team would fix this issue - they had no answer to help me.

Some messages do not show up when sort is "Received By" and can only be seen when sort is "Conversations", or by searching. Worst of all, even in Conversations mode, these messages are grouped in conversations that have no connection except time of reception.
Same here. Please could you/Microsoft fix the error the soonest possible. It is causing a big disorder in the emails.

My issue seems slightly different, but perhaps related.
I am using Outlook for Mac 2019 and have an issue as follows:
I send an email.
I then move that email from the Sent mail to another folder that I have created, so the email is no longer in Sent mail.
I then move the email from the other folder back to the Sent mail folder and click the Category tab in order to arrange the Sent mail folder by Category.
When I do this, the email is arranged by Category but no longer in the order of date sent within the Category. It displays the original sent date/time, but goes to the top of the list in the Category as if it were the newest sent email in the group, even though it has an older sent date/time than those below it.
My settings in Sent Mail are:
Arrange By: Date Sent, Newest on Top, Show in Groups
I have asked Outlook Support, but they were unable to help sent me a link to this post. Any help would be appreciated.
Same here. iMac, Outlook with IMAP. The ones that are messed up are my SENT mail that I drag from one IMAP account to another in an archive folder. If I sort by "Date Sent" it looks correct, but then is missing some received email. If I sort by “Date Received” then the sent mail's date is blank...
Can't believe this is still a problem for us, would like to konw if there's a fix other than repairing the folder every time we move something.
Finally, this problem solved!
This manipulation seems logical! It's a pity that you didn't propose it to me the first time, because it would have saved me this waste of time and especially the problems caused by the absence of these dates, thus facilitating my research and especially the proof of sending!
Now, it would seem to me appropriate and easy to your technical department to solve this problem when moving these sending e-mails to another folder.
Thank you for your efforts, though.

In Outlook mail for Mac please mark sent messages with the date and time they are sent, even when filed in folders on the cloud or on the computer. Otherwise it is extremely time consuming to find them and conversations do not appear in chronological order.
Many other people have made this comment. Apparently this is done in Windows, please do it for Mac.

Yes this is very annoying you end up with a row of emails all showing that they are sent by YOU (obviously) and no way to sort.
I have the same problem and received the same answer. It used to work previously but now it does not. I hope they find a way to fix it. I am a sole practitioner and can dump Microsoft at any time. I am already looking for other solutions. This should be fixed.
I face the same issue since weeks ago, and before this basic functionality was working perfectly. I wrote to the support and the answer is this workaround: "The workaround is to right click on that folder and repair the folder as this method re-downloads the emails from the server so that there will be date & time information based on when the emails were received by the server but you may have to perform this step every time you move an email."
But it is unacceptable that you make to perform this workaround every time you move an email!!!
Honestly, I am very surprised that there is this bug in such a basic functionality. Should have been resolved from minute one!
I have the same problem, hope you can fix it since it is important to have messages organized. In my case this problem shows up only when using an IMAP account.
Thx a lot!

same issue here.
It seems to be problem for accounts synced via IMAP, not for Exchange.
