schedule when to empty junk or trash
Outlook 2011 had a feature to schedule when to delete items in a folder. For example, I scheduled the trash folder to delete items older than 30 days old to run on the last Sunday of the month. I also would delete junk email when it was 5 days old. I would like this feature added to 2016.

Please reinstate the ability to schedule auto deletion of emails as used in previous versions of Outlook for Mac. Using an exchange server, a retention policy needs to be created to do this on the server side. Otherwise, the user is forced to select the Trash folder and manually choose to Empty Folder. What if they accidentally selected the wrong folder? This leads to user error risks. If the simple schedule feature returned, this would alleviate the concern that users' Trash are never being emptied or worse, the wrong folder gets emptied. ALSO, what is the built-in schedule for checking for new email? Is it Push or Fetch? This cannot be configured either, however what is this answer?
I like a clean - almost empty - inbox, but being able to keep emails in it before archiving it makes it easier to keep track of some things.
One thing that'd great would be automatic rules (i.e "run everyday / hour / week"), and something that goes with that IMO is a new rule condition "mail older than X days". With that, my rules could run automatically to only keep 1 week on emails in my inbox and organise the rest.
Comme d'habitude, Outlook pour Mac est très en ****** en termes de fonctionnalités par rapport à Windows

Just being able to empty on exit (as Windows Outlook has been able to forever) would be great.
