Enable right-click on Mail or Calendar icon to "Open in New Window" to mirror the Outlook 2016 for Windows version
In Outlook 2013/2016 for Windows, one can right-click on the mail, calendar, or people icon and select 'Open in New Window'. Please enable this for Outlook 2016 for Mac. Having to click on the File Menu>New>Main Window and then having to select the type of window is tedious and annoying.

I do this in Outlook for Mac 356 (v16) by clicking on the menu:
File / New / Main Window
However, I would rather be able to right click on the calendar icon to open in new window, as in the Windows version.

Glad it's not just me that wishes for feature parity on the 2 platforms. I'd like to see some OneNote integration too...
Not have this feature is very time consuming. I didn't know that this didn't work on the Mac version.
Relates to Outlook for Mac.
It would be really useful it you can right click on any icon (Envelope for Mail, Calendar etc) and get presented with 'Open in New Window'.
Currently you have to go File>New>Main Window, and then change to Calendar to have Mail and Calendar open at the same time.
Outlook for PC already has this.
It would also be useful if there was a keyboard shortcut for this function

Putting this under "New" is even confusing, it could be under "View" or under "Window".
So I like the way like in Windows, because you get a new window directly open already in the selected object.
