Outlook for Mac

Allow requests for Delivery and Read Receipts to be specified as a preference

The ability to request Delivery and Read Receipts was recently added to Outlook for Mac, but you have to remember to set these options for every message you send as they’re off by default. It would be great if it was possible to set theses defaults in the app preferences (as I believe you can do in the Windows version of Outlook), ideally on an account-by-account basis.

Request features for Office Home & Business 2016 for Mac - (MS Outlook for Mac) : For individual messages, requesting Read & Delivery Receipt, and setting alarmed email reminders for recipients

With the last update (15.35) 170610 read receipts and delivery notifications are apparently now possible. BUT only if you have an Exchange-based Office 365 email account which I do not have. I have Office 365, and POP and IMAP email accounts. I am desperate for this feature for important business emails - I had it for many years on my Windows laptop and got excited for nothing about the latest update
