Allow users to customise the touch bar
In spite of a similar looking request being marked completed, Microsoft has still not provided end users the ability to customise the touch bar. This is standard functionality in most modern Mac applications and is useful for many different good reasons, particularly for applications as sophisticated as the Microsoft Office suite - there is a lot of scope for customising to one's own workflow.
Please!! Let us customise the touch bar!!
It is late 2019 and it seems that its is still not possible to customize the toolbar in Microsoft Office. A much need feature!
We need task management as a flexible taskbar option.

The issue with the Send button was fixed, but, I rest my hands on the keyboard when reading, and I'm all the time deleting or archiving messages by accident, and, undo does not undo items that I've deleted while viewing a message. Super frustrating!

What is there to review? This should be permitted like how other applications allow for users to customize functions in the touch bar.
There is a very well known problem with Outlook - a user can touch "send" button accidentally when the letter composing not finished yet. The MacBook touchbar customization will help to solve the issue.
Excel will be more powerful with it too - it would be great to get quick shortcuts to the frequent actions and own styles.

I would like to view auto-completion words in the touch bar as an option

customize the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT) and Ribbon.
Please, please add this. I have just switched from a Windows machine to a Mac, and the Outlook client on the Mac is severely lacking. Yes, I know I could run it on a Windows machine, but I have opted for a Mac for other reasons but still rely on the Office suite and Outlook to perform my job. I would love to see some feature parity between the Windows and Mac versions of Outlook as well as the other applications in the suite.

I would love to be able to add a reference button so that I am able to reference my university work by just clicking on the touch bar
this suggestion is available in Windows and very useful in the day to day correspondence
