Add more conditions in email rules to enable @waitingfor rule #GTD
HI
I like to use the GTD workflow within Outlook
I have migrated from windows to Mac outlook and would like to set up an @waiting for rule to filter messages into a folder.
This is based on me being able to filter messages which I have sent to others and have cc'ed myself.
In Mac I lack the ability to add the condition except if I am in the cc' field
Please see windows instructions below
- Click on New Rule
- Select Apply rule on messages I receive
- Click Next
- Check off from people or public group. Then click on where people or public group is underlined and select yourself as the From contact (if you are not listed as a contact in your address book, you will need to create that rst with the exact email address used by Outlook when you send email for this
to work). Click OK. Click Next. - Check off move it to the speci ed folder. Then click on where speci ed folder is underlined and
choose the Waiting For Support folder. Click OK. Click Next. 8. Check off except if my name is in the To or CC box
Thanks
JP

Windows Outlook client has multiple values for the field contains condition. Would be nice if Mac client had parity.
