Allow pasting of an excel or google sheet column of emails into a new contact group!
Would be AMAZING if we could copy and paste a whole column of email addresses from an excel column or google sheet column right into outlook contact group. It doesn’t let you do that. You have to copy and paste every single one. That is lame. Why can’t we import an email list or paste an emails list right into it? Even better would be in Excel if it recognized that it was a list of emails for the column then one option with right click or export or share or something like that built into excel would be ‘create outlook contact group from column’ or something like that, more intuitive.
This would be a very useful and productive feature for the Mac Outlook!
It is frankly ridiculous that this cannot be done. (trying to recover contact lists from emails due to a Hard drive failure)

I have the same issue. One can do this in the PC version. Therefore, it should be possible (easy) to set this up for Mac Outlook.
It doesn't make me want to abandon a Mac - it makes me want to abandon Office 365!!
Come on guys. I am paying the same amount as your Windows users and you deliver a ******, second rate app. Not good enough. Spend some of your profits on more developers. PLEASE!!!
absolutely outrageous how limited outlook for mac is. makes me want to abandon mac entirely. how can anyone efficiently function with these limitations? PLEASE recognize that mac users are paying customers as well!
The ability to view PC Outlook groups on Outlook for Mac, or the ability to import it from a .txt, vCard, or excel to Outlook for Mac is a major area lacking from MS for Mac. I understand you want to favor PC users but the fact that a Mac person purchased Office and Outlook, yet cannot import or view existing contact groups is outrageous.
I agree absolutely that it would be a good idea.

Allow user to cut and paste a list of email addresses in an Excel spreadsheet into Outlook to create a new Contact List. This functionality exists on Outlook for Windows but does not for Outlook for Mac. There is not an easy way to create a New Contact list from a large number of email addresses. In Outlook for Windows this is a simple cut and paste operation from Excel Column into Outlook. This cannot be done in Mac so you need to enter each email address manually.
