Support for Apple iCloud contacts
Please Please Please synch iCloud calendar in outlook for mac!!!

I'm using macOS and Windows 10. (Not only) I want to have all accounts with all contacts / calenders on both machines.
Now, Outlook for Mac is only a mail client, but it could be so much more.
After all the trouble Word for Mac and Excel for Mac make, I tried to at least use Outlook, as I still have the Office subscription. But, I can't access my iCloud contacts from Outlook, which is highly annoying! In a world, where IT is supposed to make things easier, the constant struggle between Apple and Microsoft makes me angry. No wonder people are turning away from both platforms.
the reason I am cancelling my 365 subscription is because you do not support Mac and iOS Contacts and Calendars.
You might have a good email client - but what is the point if it doesn't function.
This message is about the impossibility to synchronise contacts and calendar between my iPhone iOs calendar app and MS Outlook 365 for Mac.
Since mobility is more and more important, and since smart phones have occupied an space before occupied by laptops, it's really a need the data managed MS Outlook 365 for Mac (like calendar and contacts) could be authomatically synchronized in iPhone apps.
I've seen that this is not a anecdotic one-off need, instead, it is highly shared by a lot of users.
To have the need to choose between Microsoft or others apps due to this fact is a matter that a lot of users are sharing,
Hoping our suggestions won't be useless.

This message concerns the impossibility to synchronise contacts and calendars between iPhones and Outlook. This is an important message as we users are very frustrated and urgently require a solution.
Taking the time to read the many comments below I note that virtually all my frustrations have been stated by countless others for several years but I will resume them here again.
We are iPhone users for personal or professional reasons.
We use Apple computers for personal or professional reasons.
We also use PC's at work or at home using Office / 365
We have installed Microsoft Office / 365 for Apple as we love the programs and feel they are the best.
We are professionals and ordinary individuals facing an alarming problem that we have difficulty resolving without receiving the professional support and tools that we expect from your great company.
We need to backup up our contacts and calendars on Outlook on Mac because no other email program is quite as good. We use the Office / 365 package because it is the best we know.
This synchronising used to work (fairly) well (yes, I had doubling of contacts as well) but it now no longer exists at all on Mac and I don't know why. I can tell you that Mail, Contact and Calendar on Mac do not provide me with the same creation and management that Outlook provides.
This loss of the ability to synchronise our contacts drives us crazy because we have lost our work fluidity and back-up security. We feel constrained by Mail, Contact and Calendar and waste enormous amounts of time trying to solve this issue rather than working on our own projects. We also have a sense of foreboding and anxiety that one day we will lose all our contacts, calendars, and notes or they will be irretrievably scrambled during a synchronising process.
Our difficulty is we feel alone and ignored. We troll the internet and support systems and are constantly conveyed to pages that ultimately do not deliver a useful response or sense that something is happening.
Please respond to your world-wide users - we are surely many millions around the world.
Please re-establish and improve synchronising our contacts and calendars between our iPhones and our favorite email program: Outlook because we want to get back to doing our work without losing so much time on this issue.
Please show you are listening and responding to us.
Please explain why you are not providing this tool or do something about this now.
Yours faithfully Ashley Knight
PS: could you please consider allowing us to identify the age (year) of our contacts and when they were created and last updated. After close to 25 years use of Outlook, I would love to be able to recognise, update or clean out older contacts.
PPS: please also examine how we can synchronise our "Notes" on iPhones with Office / 365. Apple has clearly lost the ball as it is impossible to synchronise iPhone notes with my iMac. I use Notes on a daily basis on my iPhone and it is absurd that I have to copy /paste these via emails onto my iMac.
PPPS: I shall try to find a way to send this same message to Apple because the "geniuses" in the Apple stores are apparently way to low on the pay grade for this message to filter up to head office and down into the heads of the persons able to act.

Please support contacts from iCloud. Microsoft people are smart and they can get it done.
How could you release Outlook for Mac if it is not integrated with Mac Contacts! Shame!!
As I figured out there's a serious bug synching calendar entries in Outlook:MacOSX <-> Office 365 <-> Outlook:iOS.
I documented (screenshots) and reported this serious bug to the support team using the help/support functionality in Outlook. But - up to now - no solution provided.
PLEASE. I stopped using Outlook a couple of years ago because of the difficulty syncing with my MAC. I went back this week and STILL cannot sync Contacts with Outlook. I still intend to use Outlook again, but would appreciate the ability to sync with Office 365. THIS IS NUTS ALREADY11

A long time back syncing was possible between Apple and Microsoft contacts but it clearly got pulled at some point. This has become a showstopper for me - the requests have been going on for 2 years but so far no solution. I'm changing email client to something compatible because it's become a mess now. Shame because I like Outlook.
Kirk Koenigsbauer, Corporate Vice President for Microsoft 365, wrote on July 22, 2015:
"... We’ve also heard the requests for Gmail and iCloud calendar and contacts sync. We’ll be adding these and other feature requests through monthly updates. ..."
(Point 8 of "Your top 10 questions about Office 2016 for Mac answered")
Nothing happened over 3 (!) years.
Is there anybody taking care of either user requests or Vice President directions?

Need real time syncing of contacts and calendar from iCloud to Outlook for Mac. Thats the only thing pending. Please save us from migrating to another email client.
MS wird für Kontakte und Kalender keine Schnittstelle zu iCloud bereitstellen. Es ist kein technisches Problem, es ist unternehmenspolitisch nicht gewollt.
MS will not provide a sync between contacts and calendar between Outlook for Mac and iCloud. Not because of technical roadblocks, they just don't want it!

All current updates in my iCloud contacts. It would be great to sync with Outlook fo rMac, since that is the email program I use most often.

Not only can't you synchronize you can't even add a street address to an icloud contact in Outlook.
Merci de synchroniser :
