IF, AT LEAST, OUTLOOK MAC WOULD SUPPORT LOCAL CONTACTS WE COULD FIND AN ALMOST DECENT WAY TO USE IT; BEING FORCED TO USE EXCHANGE (DECENT) CONTACT LIST IS A MAJOR DRAG FOR THE VAST MAJORITY OF APPLE USERS THAT NORMALLY HAVE THEIR CONTACTS SAFE AND SOUNDING SYNCED TO ICLOUD... NEED TO FIX THIS, YESTERDAY! -

I am going to drop as much of microsoft as I can - I need the contacts that are in my iPhone and on my iMac integrated with outlook to do my job. This lack of capability is ridiculous! Who can live with two separate contact accounts?

How can Microsoft expect to work in the business world if contacts and calendar can't sync with other Apple devices. I don't understand how you can begin to think this is good for your customers, or for your bottom line.

Shame on you Microsoft. You just agreed with Apple to have Office365 at AppStore with all AppStore functionality but with limited user functionality.
If you think I will give up my iCloud account and sync/copy etc with any outlook.com account or more back to Windows you're totally mistaken.
I use Office365, all works well but Outlook without my iCloud sync functions is deleted and I use other email client which supports this. I dont loose, you loose. Ask anyone from Mac community what do they think about Microsoft -

I want to be able to add a contact to iCloud from Outlook. And then outlook should see my iCloud address book.

I have had to stay with Outlook 2011 in order to have sync outlook for Mac with iCloud contacts. The purchase of the latest Outlook for Mac has been a waste of money and space in my applications folder. This needs to be rectified as a matter of urgency.

Please sync outlook for mac with icloud contacts. It is unbelievable that Outlook now is not supporting this important fixture. I hope to have good news soon because Outlook is my favorite email client app and will have to leave soon if there's no solution for this huge problem. Thanks.

Complètement honteux, ça me donne encore plus envie de ne pas payer un logiciel hors de prix pour ne pouvoir rien faire avec…
Je repasserai en 2030 lorsque la fonction sera remontée aux développeurs ...

Does anyone look at these requests..ever?? We are waiting for YEARS to get comment numbering back in MS Word and not in Outlook not allowing group conversion from Apple/Mac format to Outlook for Mac is really negligent and forces users to go to other 3rd party vendors for their contact solutions. Not very responsive Microsoft!!

The loss of Outlooks ability to sync with MacOS contacts is the reason I now use Thunderbird as my email client. While Thunderbird is reasonably capable, Outlook is more powerful.
This used to be possible with Outlook for Mac and MacOS/OSX years ago then went away. For a company supporting MacOS, it makes no sense to me to not be supporting this. -

Please allow contact synching from iCloud/Apple Contacts ..this is essential in using your software! Please--I'd rather use Outlook but you are making it impossible!!

It's poor workaround but you can select the contacts you want to export in Apple's Contacts app, then export as a vcf file to your Mac desktop. Then drag the file onto the Outlook icon in the task bar. This worked for me with MacOS Mojave and Office 365. At least you have your contacts in Outlook, but there won't be synched with your MacOS, iOS contacts on iCloud.
