Support for Apple iCloud calendar
Thanks for voting!
One alternative is to subscribe to iCloud calendar with your Exchange/O365 email accounts or any Outlook account, and then sync the same accounts in Outlook for Mac. See details:

The way outlook and apple contacts do not sync together is absolutely crazy and short sighted. As a small business owner i look to software to work easily and properly so i can focus on my business. I need a too that works, niot one that cost me extra money in IT support.
Can't get it to work!

Everyone who is voting for this should instead (or also) vote for proper CalDAV support:

Please allow us to sync iCloud Calendar in Outlook 2019 for Mac!!!
Please sync calendar and contacts for Mac. It is hard to justify paying for software that only half works. Come on!
+1. ... should I stay or should I go??
Please synch calendar and contacts on outlook for mac. It's a must!
it is important to access the universal iCloud calendar,
please synch calendar on oulook for mac. It's a must!
I thought no iCal support would be an old thread when i tried to add a calendar to Outlook 2016.
Come on! After all these years Outlook is still a second class citizen on a Mac

I have done my decision. Don‘t use this app any more. And our company (enterprise company) plans to follow my recommendation to cancel this user unfriendly development.
Seriously MicroSoft - it's called Outlook for Mac - Outlook that works on a Mac - perhaps it is implied that Mac users will have IMAP accounts, so maybe the Minimum Viable Product to be built with make those accounts talk to Outlook - MVP! We now have to vote for the least we expect.
Yeah Jeff Tillery...it’s read only, same with Google Calendar. MS is one step further integrating Google with Outlook but it’s still not quite there... I hope they don’t end up having the same “kinda compatible” approach with iCloud...although any progress at all would be nice I guess:/
Current sitch with Google/Mac Outlook...
-syncs between Google Cal-Outlook-Mac-IOS, but does not instantly update on IOS (takes a few to several minutes)
-cannot copy/paste in either direction between Outlook and Google (without a G Suite account [& Windows?])
-can cut/paste (move) from Google Cal to Outlook, but not from Outlook to Google
...so the only way to get all your calendar events into gCal is to; export the OLM file, convert it to PST or ICS, then import to gCal (I think?)
-you will no longer have categories or generic colors (neither sync between Outlook-Google)
-can view on Outlook 365 Web but not edit (one-way read-only)
-quick back-to-back changes in Outlook are not handled well...often rejected and require a 2nd attempt
-having gCal in Outlook also adds another mail folder, meaning two duplicate (but not identical) gmail folders if you’re already using gmail in Outlook
...might be worth syncing from Google to iCloud (Google to sync with Outlook on Mac, Google to sync with IOS via iCloud) in order to speed up the IOS sync, but two layers of syncing is asking for trouble
please add this functionality, huge miss by MS - eliminates my use of Outlook - which would be a huge advancement over the Mac Mail/Calendar/Contacts apps
Thanks Admin, but the suggested alternative only works as a one-way read-only sync...changes made in Outlook won't be applied to the iCloud calendar.

Not really cool to recommend people create a public subscription link to their calendar just to workaround not having CalDav support - plus, isn't this a read only link to the calendar?
Please make a simple way to have outlook access and view my iCloud calendars. I WANT to use Outlook more, i WANT to be on the 365 ecosystem but this just hinders it :(
Ensure that all calendars (iCal and Outlook can be synced on my Mac.

Hey, Outlook team, are you actually doing anything? Of the top 20 items on this site, 75% are 'Under Review' and have been for some time. 15% have no comment. We've had the pleasure of looking forward to the other planned 5% since Q12016! The only item there seems to have been any progress was integration with OneNote. Surprise! You really want to improve macOS Outlook, just continue to barely support it and integrate it with other Office products!
