calendar reminders off screen
When you resize a screen (or remove an external display) - the calendar reminder pop-up window appears with only the left 5% visible in the lower-right corner of the screen. The entire reminder window should be positioned ON-SCREEN instead.
The new outlook reminders at the top of the email view are over sized and needs to be massively condensed.
At the moment, only 50% of the viewport is the actual email, the rest is oversized calendar reminders for the appointments in the email.

When I get a calendar reminder the entire Outlook is brought to the front on top of other apps where I am working. I want a way to still get the small reminder but stop the main window from moving to the top.
Notifications/reminders do not pop up when working in full screen mode in another application, please fix this so I get a notification when a meeting is about to start. Possibly by using Mac' own notification system.
I changed the screen resolution on my laptop screen (not my external), and then changed it back. This reset the position of the notifications.
Nice if Microsoft just used the built-in Apple Notification Center. Outlook notifications are not as bad as Teams notifications, but c'mon.
This is a little detail, but when you dismiss your calendar reminders, it shouldn't put Outlook in focus.

Where is the "Ivan" post??
For what it's worth, I found this thread about Outlook for Mac because my APPLE iCal event edit windows were not appearing on double clicking an item. When I used the three finger scroll to display all windows, it seems no matter where on my four monitors I place iCal, the event edit window is ALWAYS appearing way offscreen so I cannot even drag it into view. I literally have to move monitor layout around in Apple System Preferences just to get the thing visible enough to edit until the next relaunch when the same thing happens. So, this flaky UX in my case is 100% an Apple MacOS issue. I have Outlook for Mac and will be on the lookout, no pun intended, to see if I have the problem you all describe here. Full disclosure, I am not saying this on behalf of anyone. I am a Mac fanboy and user since 1984 and my current employer is Microsoft in a consulting/program management role. But my opinions are my own, openly bashing any company with lousy UX/CX with my #UrUXSux blog. ;-)

This is driving me nuts. Everyone is thanking Ivan, but his comment does not appear. What's the trick?!
Thanks, Ivan. That worked. But, it's asinine we should have to do something like that. It's like going around your elbow, your knee, and back up to your ear lobe to get to your belly button.

I am almost certain this is why I keep missing reminders. I have a 2017 MBP with 3 external monitors and windows constantly move around when my monitors turn back on after sleep or after reconnection. It is enough of a problem that I just purchased Stay, but it doesn't seem to help with this reminder related issue.
this is either by design or by incompetence, either way microsoft is a complete joke. They view sabotaging their customers as providing a strategic advantage. This is why I will never purchase anything made this company.
thanks Ivan.. did the trick!

Change the resolution even if temporarily, and this will revert to normal.
I also find this annoying and have missed or been late for meetings because of this issue. I often increase the resolution of my monitor when working with colleagues and then return the resolution once I'm done. I also dock my laptop with an external monitors. It seems to be related to these scenarios. Restarting Outlook seems to "fix" the issue. Of course, there needs to be a better long term solution. Presumably, it's not difficult to incorporate some code into the notification system that checks the resolution of the monitor before deciding on the location of the notification window.
I've been told by support that this has been fixed in one of the recent Insider Fast Builds, but I haven't decided yet if I want to go to that level of pre-release development or not. If I try it, I'll let it run for a few days and post further comments here.

This is still happening to me as of July 25, 2017. It's a terrible bug that needs to be fixed.
I am out of votes but this needs a handful of votes.
I also think that it is a tiny bit odd to consider a bug fix as an enhancement. This needs to be fixed not because people "like" it but because it is broken.

I too have missed calls because of this.
Only happens if an external monitor was connected at one point of the day and is then removed, OR if an external monitor was connected during the day.
