Improve support for plain text email
If I reply to a plain-text message, the reply should display any included text prefixed by "> " and in a fixed-width font. Ideally, the prefix and the font should be customizable.
Plain text emails are not displayed using the font defined in Preferences->Font->Plain Text at startup. It appears to be displayed in a default of Times New Roman 10 pt. But if you view that preferences dialog and don't change any settings, after the dialog is closed the correct font is used. After restarting Outlook, the problem comes back.
This is a relatively new bug, I believe it was introduced in the March 2020 Office update.
UNIX mail, since the 1970s, enables the user to respond to a message with each line of the original message preceded by a carat and a space (> ). This clearly distinguishes between the original message and the response. Microsoft Outlook does nothing to distinguish the original message from the response, leading to confusion between who wrote what.
