Customize the ribbon
The ribbon can be customised in Word, but not in Outlook. For instance, the placement of addin could be chosen (e.g. webex, which is working fine, by the way), or the very bad placement of the "send and receive" is dramatic

And let's not forget the bad placement of the high priority button and the prioritized paragraph button when a hard return works just as well.

I use the mark read/unread button numerous times a day. I have never used get add-ins or insights and never will. I resent having to go to tags to find the mark unread button. Please make the ribbon customizable. This is terrible UX.

Please add this feature! Recently, some new plug in was added in outlook for IOS that changed my MacOS toolbar, so now to reply to a message, I have to click through two items to get to the reply button... Unacceptable!

Unacceptable. Unbelievable in 2019 not to be able to customize the one thing everyone wants to modify.

Is there any update from Microsoft about this point? It's to weird that we still can't change the Ribbon on our Mac app...

Why is the Signature button all the way on the right of the ribbon, when I use it EVERY time I write an email? Examples of easily-accessed features include Highlight, Strikethrough, Justify, Switch Background .. and even Tables. Seriously? Tables is more frequently used than SIGNATURES?

The "Switch Background" button makes me have to scroll to get to my signatures. Please make this customisable.

Please put back the "MARK UNREAD" button and allow to customize the ribbon.

This was an option in other versions of office (and outlook or even entourage) for a mac. why, why, why does MS keep taking away useful functionality? I have a pc at work (I don't have a choice) and a mac at home and I am so very tired of the two platforms, running the most up to date versions of office being so totally different. I get the differences between Macs' OS and windows but it can't all be attributed to that....

Please put back the "MARK UNREAD" button - that is an essential productivity function that real users reach for dozens of times a day.

I'd also like to see the Outlook ribbon be customizable. I have Outlook on a dual monitor and it's set to a certain width. Because it's not wide enough to show all the standard ribbon buttons, the Read/Unread button gets shoved under "tags" as a drop down option. Yet, I'm forced to look at the "Get Add-ins" and "Insights" buttons which I never use. The Read/Unread shouldn't go away.

Make the tool bar ribbon (icons & text at the top) customizable like in MAC mail. Having the ability to add / remove any icon. Also to display text with icon or icon only. Currently, I can only show or hide the entire ribbon, but when it’s showing, I only use maybe 20% of the icons. 80% of it is just visual noise I have to keep looking at which if find distracting an unhelpful.

As more software providers, including Microsoft, add plug-ins to Outlook, esp, for collaboration, such as calendar and meetings, the task bar is getting overloaded and I need a method to hide/show and order the icons so I can ensure that the important icons are visible when using less than full screen.

I really need this funktion on Mac. I don't need all the buttons. Please implement this feature. Thanks

This is VERY easy on a PC to customize the ribbon, but ZERO options to customize button order on a Mac. Please fix!

I've got a third-party add-on that literally gets cut off the edge of my screen because there are so many other icons on the ribbon that I never use. Please add ribbon customization to Outlook for Mac as you've done for Word and Excel... it's 2019 and this feature still isn't available!

I would have been able to make Add Signature available on meeting invites had the ribbon been customizable.
