defer emails a specific number of minutes in outlook for mac
in windows you can create a rule for defer the mails sent for some minutes. it is very useful to have one minute to cancel the email sent.
Agree. Please implement Delay or scheduled delivery for non- Exchange and Outlook accounts. Official site states"It won’t work with IMAP or POP accounts such as Gmail, Yahoo, or iCloud." https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/office/delay-or-schedule-the-delivery-of-email-messages-in-outlook-for-mac-a02097de-76c2-4895-9557-0818ef229024?ui=en-us&rs=en-gb&ad=gb
yes please, I had this on my work computer and it saved me so many errors, now that we are all working from home, I am using my mac laptop and have made a couple of mistakes and really miss this feature! Please fix, this seems like an obvious feature to have - 3.75 years surely is enough time to do this!

There needs to be a way to set up an automatic delay outgoing emails - this feature is a lifesaver in terms of avoiding mistakes big and small when it comes to composing and sending messages.
Please allow for a delay to be set for outgoing emails. I used to have it when I accessed my email via a web browser and it saved me from making a mistake many times. It is a very useful option to have.

Why is this still pending after three and a half years!!!
I support this idea
This feature is essential. I wonder why for so many years this is still pending.

It is important to have this feature. Mac Outlook does not have a "Recall" option so the least users can get is delay the email sent by a specific number of minutes.
Please get this feature added asap!
Option to delay sending all message by a specific time is unavailable in Outlook for Mac. I think it would be great to add the feature, same as in Windows.
You need to add to the Mac versionYou need to add to the Mac version a button for schedule a message for future date or an an hour

Why are we still waiting for this rule?

This is silly it's not available yet..
Turn on the ability to "undo send" or add "delay send rule" on Microsoft Outlook for Mac
In the online web version of Outlook, you can set "undo send" for a specific amount of time to reduce sent email mishaps.
In the Windows version you are able to add a rule to "delay send for amount of minutes".
But this feature is missing in Microsoft Outlook for Mac. Can we please add this as a feature?
Another note: Having the option to delay send on Windows for 0-10 seconds would be a lot better than having to do a minimum of 2 minutes for efficiency purposes.

Agreed. Deferred delivery as a rule is available on Outlook for PC but not Mac. Scheduling later delivery of an email is not the same as a blanket deferred delivery of all emails by means of a rule.
Still nothing eh? I'm always surprised when I try to figure out these basic features only to find that it's not included in MS for mac but has been included in MS for windows for years. I'm starting to not be surprised.

This is very distinct from being able to schedule a single message for some time in the future, which was recently added.
Allow delaying send of all messages so there is a short window to change your mind is a feature in Outlook for Windows, Outlook online, Gmail and other tools. Why is it still missing from the Mac version of Outlook?
Does anyone actually read customer requests? How can such a basic feature be omitted.

I've have always needed this 'Send Later' feature in Outlook for Mac where I could delay the send until a certain time. I used it all day, every day for years when I worked in an office using the PC version. I see it's available for my old hotmail account, but not for my other IMAP accounts. Seeing that it's there and available for one type of account, but not for all is almost more frustrating. It's like it's almost there 'oops, but not available for your main email account'. I've ended up having to adjust my workflow for years to accommodate the lack of this feature. For now, when I compose an email I need to delay, I have to just save it to my draft folders and manually create a reminder alarm that alerts me around the time I want to send it. Once the reminder alarm goes off later in the day or evening, I have to take the time to go back to my computer, navigate to the drafts folder, open that email that I composed earlier and send it out. PLEASE add this feature so that it works on all types of email accounts. I've been seeing requests for this for about the last 4-5 years it seems. I saw another post that showed "completed" and said it was added, but the post looked like it was deleted? If I can help with testing or be a guinea pig for this feature, I will be more than happy to help test and give feedback.
