Would like to see someones out of office message when writing an e-mail
Like the Outlook client on Windows, it would be nice if you could see the receivers out of office message when typing their name in the "To" box.
Please solve this! such a pain..

I love my Mac except when I have to interact with Windows products on it - why is it such a ****** deprecated product on the Mac - with zero support. excel is 10x worse - it's total bs you can't be bothered to fix this - don't care NEVER Going back . . . . . . . . .
When composing an email to somebody with an out-of-office message (on the same exchange server) outlook should be able display the notice before hitting send. It's frustrating to type out a long and important email only to have it bounce back within seconds.
Why not show the out of office notice immediately when you begin composing the email?
Add a quick button to add the user's return date to your calendar
I've been a long time Windows user and started a new job at a facility that uses Macs. Being able to tell if someone has an out of office message enabled on their e-mail is a basic, and incredibly helpful, function. I'm shocked it's not available to Mac users, even after all of these years. It's caused a lot of unnecessary challenges at this facility and I would like to see this changed.
please add this feature to outlook for mac asap

It would be nice if Microsoft just answers, even if they say it will be available 2099!

Wonder if Microsoft ever reads these suggestions? 3 years later and we're still asking for a sorely needed basic requirement. How difficult could this be to port over the code since it's already been done for the other platforms?

for goodness sakes, is this a thing yet??

I've given all my votes. This is a no-brainer need folks.
Need this feature- it is critical for business that is looking to expand into Macs on the enterprise level that has Microsoft hosting mail, all cloud services, etc.

After so many years another 'yes' to the vote. You can see the first part of the OoO message when you send a new message to just that one person, and there's an asterisk when a sender is in the 'to' in a message sent to multiple people. But no way to hover or anything to see the whole message with the 'due back' info. Please add!

THIS IS NEEDED!!!!!!
our company needs this hint as well
it makes no sense to plan big meetings if you are not aware that the key person is on leave.,..
Please add this feature to Outlook for Mac.
Agreed, this would be a very beneficial feature for Outlook for Mac.
