delete any incorrect or unwanted autocomplete addresses
Some (but not all) autocomplete address cannot be removed. It seems
Outlook 2016 on the Mac uses incoming emails to populate the type ahead cache. This means that if I receive a junk/spam/malware email from email@example.com and I then email my friend called fred smith, it will autocomplete with the learnt address. This can be quite difficult to spot now email addresses get hidden very quickly when the field loses focus etc
Learning from outgoing / replied to mails is fine (as happens on the Windows client), but not incoming addresses
The KB for this is incorrect: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2768735

This is a major problem. I keep getting old and bad addresses popping up when typing in a name. There is no way to delete them. People say click the X to the side of the name, but it does not exist in Mac. I want to delete all recent and start from scratch. Cannot find a way to do it. Deleted program. Reinstalled. They all come back EVEN if the addresses are not in my contacts and have not been used.
