Integrate Outlook for Mac with Salesforce.com
Windows Outlook has the capability to interface with Salesforce.com, allowing for automatic contact updates and other hassle-free features. Outlook 2016 doesn't even allow a CSV file to be uploaded to import new contacts. You have to use Outlook 2011 to upload the CSV file and then wait for everything to sync to your 2016 Outlook. If Salesforce.com integration is not feasible, then at least allow CSV imports for contacts.
