make Tasks visible in Outlook Calendar like in the Windows Versions of Outlook

Oddly Outlook for Mac when in reverse. Why on earth did you go back to PC Outlook 2003 where the due date is listed first and the start date listed second? Also the lack of task assignments, status, attachment of emails, attachment of files, The ability to see task in a panel next to the calendar (ToDo Bar in windows or the Today app in Mac Outlook 2008). Outlook on the PC is a fantastic time management tool, planning tool, and communication tool. The Mac version back stepped with office 365. Please put the effort back in to in the desktop application.

Yes, but more importantly, the calendar so I can see my email and appointments for the day in one view!
yes please, make it available in emails and calendar views

This would be a great feature that is already included on a PC. Create tasks, view them while in the calendar and drag a task to a specific day and time to decide on when you what to work on this task.
Why can you import tasks from EXCEL as CSV file into Outlook byt not on the mac version? This should be a no brainer.

In the Windows version of Outlook 2016, I can customize how I see my tasks to make a really powerful dashboard. I can manually sort the order of tasks, group them by Start Date or Due Date, and create a new task within the table view.
If we could do that on Mac, that would be awesome.

I agree, I want to be able to see my calendar and tasks in the email screen.

I want to be able to see my calendar and tasks in a sidebar in Outlook for Mac just like I can in Outlook for Windows.
Do the developers use the product? Hard to believe they would leave out something as critical as being able to add a task to the calendar or at least view them in the context of calendar time commitments.

This is one of the gems that made Outlook for Windows (when you gave it away for free in magazines back in 1997) blow away Exchange (the program for e-mail was called Exchange at the time...).
I want to look at everything and not have to switch screens to do so. This is a fundamental part of Outlook on Windows that I use at work, and I'd like to use it at home with Outlook for Mac.
Here's a crazy example:
I get an e-mail from my wife asking what I'm doing on February 9, and instead of clicking the February 9 on the calendar on the right side of the window, I click on the calendar icon, then to February 9, see what's there, remember it, then click back to the calendar and reply to her that I have a date with my girlfriend that night, but I'm free the rest of the day to be with her.
This isn't a hard one, folks. Just ask the Windows crew how they did it.
(BTW, my wife is also my girlfriend...)
All urgent tasks should be displayed in the calendar

This is a much needed feature. I see the original post was two year's ago and yet nothing done.
we have paid for it, all the features available for pc version should be available for Mac.
otherwise you should have indicated clearly before purchasing with bold red font that those features are not available.
