Create Calendar Appointments from a Time or Date in an Email
When reading an email, if there is a time or date in the email, allow me to click on that time/data and create a calendar appointment for that date/time right there. This feature is enabled in OS X Mail and iOS Mail. It would be great to have it in Outlook too.

Wow. It has been 3 years and this hasn't happened yet? Why? I am considering moving over from Apple Mail, but this feature is too valuable to me not to have.

When Creating an Appointment, it would be good to have the opportunity to choose alternative calendars, not just Mac default.

Let us create an appointment directly by clicking on the calendar and adding the content there, instead of opening a window for the appointment.

yes creating an appointment is essential to have a reminder to work on an email with a deadline! so please add this. a meeting is not useful, as this requires another participant

I'm using an macBook Pro with O365 client, and I am unable to create an appointment or meeting from an email.
It seems like the option is there however Outlook closes out every time I try to use that feature. please resolve.

Creating a meeting from email is added. Can you please allow also creation of appointment from email? a lot of times I schedule an appointment to take care of something related to an email. There is no one else needed for that appointment so it is not a meeting.

Even if it weren't click-enabled - there should be a way to create a calendar appointment (not a meeting invitation) from an email, or with the text of the email in the appointment.
