Replying to an email in the "sent" folder should send the email to original recipients of the email I'm replying to and not to me (the sender) ...

This would be such an easy fix. As a temporary work around, I've found that emails to single recipients you may email via reply-all and you will get the desired one button result. However, this is hacky and I'm honestly surprised that this feature fix hasn't occurred, given how standard it is in other mail clients.

Absolutely - would love to see this fixed in Android too! I often reply to my own messages when I've something to add, and it keeps all the conversation threaded properly. The number of times I've done this fast, then not realised that the message didn't go to anyone I wanted it to go to. The reason this catches me out is that other email solutions all get this right, and Outlook is alone in this.

Yes. Gmail and all other web clients do this by default. Who would ever want to reply to themselves unless they were sending an email to themselves in the first place?? (in which case this change would STILL be an improvement in intuitive interaction design)
