Better disk space utilization
Outlook for Mac 2016 has these problems currently:
- There is no way for me to specify where to store my mails
I should have the option of storing the mails in another partition or even an external drive as well. Currently all my IMAP downloaded mails are being stored in home folder which is eating away space for other apps. Outlook for windows has this option.
- Better disk cleanup
After i unlink and remove an IMAP account, Outlook does not seem to free up the space. I believe Outlook windows has this option of cleaning up disk space.
I am using up 198GB for my outlook files i cannot manage this
What the **** is Microsoft thinking? are they deliberately trying to sabotage Mac users? I have 20 people on MacBook Airs and now they are all having issues with local storage.
FIX THIS PLEASE!

I have a 85 GB Library folder (hidden) in my Users/Michael/ folder. Outlook accounts for about 27GB in a sub folder Users/Michael//Group Containers/Outlook/
There are other applications which account for the remainder of the Library folder inside Users.
If I move the entire folder for /Users/Michael to my external HDD I could free about 125GB on my 250GB SSD
The only roadblock preventing me from freeing up this very valuable SSD space is Outlook. All the other programs and Apple OSX support having the User Folder and embedded Library Folder on an external drive.
This could be a deal breaker sending me back to the inferior Apple Mail.
Am very dissapointed that Microsoft has not addressed this.
I am running out of disk space in my laptop because of Outlook as I kept all my email messages for reference. Please help. Any possibility to add a feature where Outlook messages can be stored in Cloud Services like iCloud or Dropbox so we can operate from any computer. I thought this is what Outlook 2016 supposed to be.
Make it easier to manage hard drive space used. Not clear how much space my mailboxes use.
