I'm a user of Outlook on Mac and subscriber of Office 365, version 16+.
I don't have available any option for requesting receipts. for instance: Options > Request Receipts > Request a Read Receipt is not available.Ho can I activate it and make sure I can use it?
Thank you

16.16.2 Volume Licence key - feature, amongst so many others, NOT available. WHY??

WHY is this ONLY to users who are O365 users? Why when my company buys the software outright do we not get Read Receipts? If you can do it for O365 customers, you can do it for those of us not on O365...but I get it, it's a ploy to make more money by making us pay annually or monthly instead of a one-time fee. But the Read Receipts are not the biggest tool everyone uses so why not just turn it on?

Completed!!!
I don't think so, I have so been totally lied to when I purchased Outlook.
Stop fobbing us off and have a genuine fix for this please. Not impressed at all. I would expect far better from Outlook. -

There are next to ZERO third party applications that enable easy, thorough email tracking on Outlook for Mac yet there are at least 10 good options for Gmail. We are simply asking for the most basic of them all - enable READ RECEIPTS - and despite the other 100 benefits we forgo on incredibly useful email tracking applications on Outlook for Mac, this one basic function would be enough to suffice! yet now I will HAVE TO go to GSUITE so that I can no when my leads open their emails! so simple yet so important to your paying customers!!

Still no read receipt feature for all Outlook users. Standard feature in all other email platforms, even the most basic. We are forced to use Outlook for work purposes, hence get your 'A' into 'G' and add the simple feature already.

I urge you to immediately assign the task of implementation of above mentioned feature to two of your best teams and roll out this feature - this time genuinely - for ALL Outlook users, be it O365 or not.

it is a total scandal that outlook users need O365 to enable this basic/standard feature... considering switching to apple mail

I have been in contact with Microsoft support about my Outlook 2016 fro Mac not having a read receipt option. My email is forwarded from my Comcast mail. Previously. I had an old Dell system with Outlook 2010 and read receipts and mail recall all worked.
I upgraded to an iMac Pro with Outlook 2016 for Mac and these features no longer work with my same Comcast mail account.
Your support person tells me that I must upgrade to Outlook 365 and Comcast must use Outlook 365 mail server for these features to be available.
I don't understand why it all worked before my upgrade, and why it won't work now!!!

This feature is STILL not available(Ju10 July 2018) so "We are happy to announce that this feature is available to all O365 subscription users" as stated by the Mac Outlook team on June 20 2017 is just a plain LIE
Such a vital OFFICE tool not being available for Mac,, along with so many other features available (for YEARS) to Windows users just reinforces that the Mac Outlook Team, or Microsoft as a whole really don't give a toss about their customers -

As described above.

How hard can adding this feature be? Why is such a basic feature still not available after all this time? We Mac users feel cheated by Microsoft ..
