Edit capability of Email subject line
Please fix Mac's version to allow Subject Line editing in received emails. I regularly add "key words" to assist in future searches of a particular topic. Make it identical capability to the PC version.

This is essential.
Please fix this. It is very useful and the windows versions of the same software do this already.
Yes absolutely agree. This is extremely helpful in Outlook for Windows and I was really disappointed this feature does not work with Mac. Please make identical to PC version capability. Thank you!!

can somebody help me out?
I discovered how to edit the Subject line. Highlight, but do not open, the email desired. Then, click on Message. Then select EDIT MESSAGE. You should see the email open with the SUBJECT line in blue. You may now edit as desired. When finished, click on red X and you will see a prompt window asking if you want to save the change. Click on SAVE and it should be there.
I agree totally. I used Outlook 2003 in my PC for years and had the ability to edit the email subject line. I just transitioned to Mac recently and purposely bought Office 365 thinking that Outlook would work as well as on my PC. Wrong. Not only can I not edit the subject line, I was unable to import my address book! As I continue to learn this new version of Outlook I wonder just how many more shortcomings will be discovered. There should be no reason that the Mac version is not identical to the PC versions of all the Office applications.
I could not agree more I hate that they took this away
