Don't auto-delete meeting requests!
Don't auto delete meeting requests! Sometimes they contain useful information in the body of the message that is hard to see once the meeting has been put on the calendar. I can customize this setting in Outlook for Windows. Why leave it out for Outlook for Mac?
Go to File>Options>Mail, then scroll down to the 'Send Messages' section and un-check the box that says "Delete meeting requests and notifications from Inbox after responding."
Please add this feature
Make this configuration option available in Mac.
It's unbelievable that it's not available yet!
Pls add this feature. Stay Home, stay safe!

This has been driving me nuts. Microsoft Teams invites often have the Teams link and critical info in the body that does not get added to the calendar event. Once the invite is auto deleted upon accept their is no way to get the Teams link. This needs to be fixed in Windows 10 mail app and Android app
How is this not even an option in the mac desktop version?

Defaulting to automatically deleting information is always the wrong choice. Please fix immediately, this mistake in Outlook's design directly harms my productivity.

Lately, my employer is having virtual meetings to deal with issues relating to the health crisis. It would be helpful if I could positively RSVP to a virtual meeting without deleting the message, because the message contains critical information about the meeting, including the link by which I can join the meeting.
Please fix this
Please fix this - why is it so hard to not automatically delete a message. Fix it!
We need this feature. My morning today: Accept Meeting Request, email with pertinent information disappears; curse loudly and Google "Outlook where did my meeting go after I accepted the invitation"; close Outlook and use Gmail web to find Trash Folder; find accepted invitation, move to Inbox, Flag, take a screenshot, use pen/paper to write down Zoom link and room key as backup in case Outlook deletes email again; make note to decline all future Meeting Invites.
Do some work and fix it already.

Workaround via powershell:
- Connect to company O365 environment via PS session.
- Type Set-OrganizationConfig -VisibleMeetingUpdateProperties "AllProperties"
- Type get-organizationConfig again to verify change has been made.
Got the idea from https://office365.uservoice.com/forums/325347-office-com-home-page/suggestions/37852648-ms-outlook-calendar-function-has-unwanted-autoproc and it worked perfectly

Fix it already! I tried using the Anonymous post's about the work around rule, but I don't see a way to put in the specific conditions such as "if folder-TRASH" as it is not in the drop down menu
I worked around it with a rule:
"If all conditions are met":
- if folder=TRASH
- if "Spcecific Header" "x-ms-traffictypediagnostic" contains "MeetingMessage"
"Do the following"
==> Move to INBOX
This was in previous versions of Outlook, it should be in the Mac version again!
This! (You're making gmail look better and better!)
I'd like to be able to mark all of those deleted invites (once accepted or declined) in the Trash or even better is to leave them in the inbox so we can refer back. Must have feature please.
