Columns and reading pane right
Please add the ability to view mail in columns while still having the reading pane to the right. This functionality works great on the Windows side, but I can't seem to figure out why it's only available with no reading pane, or when the reading pane is below the email...

It is unbelievable that this feature is not available given that nowadays monitors have wide aspect.

My whole Outlook window on Mac has 2000px, so there is plenty of room for Reading Pane to the right and single column view. Please fix this, because looking at multi-line mail list is awful and cluttered when you have a busy mbox. I would give this feature request all my 10 votes if I could!

Microsoft, how do people increase a reading space of a monitor? Do they usually do it to left and right with a wide screen or up/down? Obviously, to left and right with either additional screens or one very wide screen. I have 38" width monitor and not having this feature in outlook on mac is a killer.
Why should I want to use the HEIGHT on my ultra WIDE screen? I need to have it from left to right. Folders + Columns with email info + Reading Pane. NOT from top to right.
Please fix this!

As someone with an incredibly busy work inbox, I have seen my productivity decrease without the column view and reading pane on the right. Please fix!

Please fix this. It makes absolutely no sense to force the multiline view when moving the pane to the right. Not being able to customize columns in the view and loss of easily sorting by column are huge usability losses. Loss of valuable screen real estate is also annoying and a close second in terms of impact.

There is a duplicate of this issue which should have it's votes applied:
"Single line inbox, preview pane can be used, do not need 3 lines in the inbox. Let us chose like "real" Outlook for PC!"

Comparing to other posts, I've noticed that Microsoft team took action for less voted suggestions. I hope this post have attention from Microsoft team which should not be a big deal for them to do it....
Until someone take action, i came up with a solution by having windows in boot camp and get office again just only for such reason!!! because this simple but big concern issue is available in office for PC / office for windows but not for MAC ! -

Microsoft, You have disabled the view that mostly used: reading pane on the right when column view is enabled. Please fix and re-enable.
This is very important, I dont like outlook as it is now.

if it was just applicable, I would give this one 1,000,000 votes!
I Cann't agree more with all comments, and hope this to be solved as one of the most urgent need to keep using the outlook on MAC with no headache...
It feels silly to suggest this as a new feature, because it is already exist in outlook for windows, and suggesting features should totally not be in such a way to ask for things available in windows outlook and begging to be as well in MAC outlook !! -
