Agreed, its silly that this functionality is available in windows and OWA but disabled in OFM, please enable this.

I was getting important e-mails put into my Junk Folder. I noticed Allowing "Safe Senders" from Junk Email Preferences in the Mac App didn't work, and was told by a Customer Support Agent that I could only "really" do that by allowing senders in the Outlook Web App (OWA). It seems very inconsistent and inefficient. Why have that option in the Mac Desktop App if it won't really work in practice?

Can I please have my safe senders back. i am now no longer getting the package that I pay for. Will need to change if this does not get resolved soon.
I have this same problem and it's for an Outlook.com account. This feature is clearly available if I use the Outlook.com web app, so why isn't available in the desktop app in macOS? I'm also paying for O365. If you don't have feature parity with the web app (which typically should have a simpler feature set than the desktop app), it discourages the use of the desktop app. Why should I use Outlook on macOS over the web app?
Yes, we PAY to have normal Outlook features. Please get this working ASAP before I consider another email provider!
I have a retail version of office for Mac. Yet junk email preferences are greyed out along with other ‘paid’ tools that should be available! My updates are verifiable current, did that twice. So who/where do we go and what do we do to unlock the features, we paid to have?

This is nuts. I use OFM and have no interest in logging into OWA, digging into preferences, and cut-and-pasting my safe sender into some configuration. How hard is it to have "Safe Sender" right next to "Block Sender." Sheesh.
Even worse: This feature was available for some time - and has gone now again in the latest Outlook for Mac Version. Why is that so? I can edit Junk eMail Preferences in the online client as well as in Outlook for Windows, but no longer in Outlook for Mac? Please Fix that soon.
How about adding the ability to add your email address or primary domain to the safe sender list? It will not allow me to add my own email address in OWA so all of my website form submissions, (that use my email and domain) are all going to the Junk folder with no notifications. Indicating a Junk email is NOT JUNK pretty much does nothing at all except moves that one email to your Inbox... pointless. Fix this!

We should be able to click on the "Junk Mail" button to update a list of email addresses we want blocked, this is rudimentary. Conversely, we should be able to click on the "Mark as Not Junk" and have it add the email address to a "white list" so that it isn't sent to the Junk Mail folder.
The current "Mark as Not Junk" does NOT do this, which you would think that is precisely what it is supposed to do.
Instead, it only moves that single piece of email (while you may have a dozen from the same email address) into the Inbox folder.
The button should say, "Move this single piece of email to the Inbox".
That would be honest.
Instead Microsoft makes you think you are doing something, but you're not.

The Junk Settings (Outlook > Settings > Junk) state "This Feature is not available for the accounts currently configured" when using a outlook.com account. Can this be enabled so we can manage our junk settings from the client rather than having to keep going to outlook.com to manage.
