Enable "Show messages from other folders"
In Outlook for Windows, I heavily use the option to "Show messages from other folders". Sadly it isn't available on Office 2016 for Mac. Please please add it! This is critical to workflow and ability to use folders for archiving but being alerted to previous context if a new message on the conversation comes in.
By any chance is this now available? I will be switching back to windows if this isn't available for Outlook 2016 on Mac.

What does 'conversation' mean if you can only see one side? When I reply to a message in my inbox, i want to be able to see that reply in the same thread, so I know that I took care of it. Now I have to go to the Sent box to check? In Mac Mail, one can select multiple folders, but it does not seem to be available in Outlook for Mac.

We just purchased outlook for our company. I convinced them to go into outlook from gmail. I told them outlook was made for companies and was better...
Bu now I realized that they dont have the "option show messages from other folders" and destroyed my believe in outlook! Clients have been asking for this since 2016! and no answer...
This should be incorporate into outlook for mac please. It is essential and basic.
Bring back the ability to see the whole conversation (like things in the Sent folder) ... Bring back "Show messages from other folders" ... I can't even imagine why this option was removed.
I think the concept for the focused inbox is good, but I'd like a settings option to not count "Other" messages in the new messages badge (dark grey oval counting unread messages next to the folder name). I like the "clutter" feature because it doesn't mislead me about the number of messages that I'll need to respond to.
