Option to disable “quote only selected text on reply” feature
If some mail text is selected, only that text is set in quote part on reply. This behavior is not very convenient for me as a longtime user of Outlook for Windows desktop.
I want an option to disable it and let Outlook behave like Windows client.

Hi all, as of release 16.21 it is possible to disable “quote only selected text on reply” in Mac Outlook. Go to Outlook/Preferences/Composing and uncheck the
“Only reply to selected text” box.
Thanks for your support!

This is very shoddy design and proves Microsoft wants to keep office for Mac as a step-product and does not want to do anything to improve it to the standard of Office for Mac. The list of things that are there in Office for Windows and missing in Office for Mac is endless!!! For God's sake, we are not using Office for Mac for FREE!!! We pay for it just as we paid for Office for Windows!

This needs to be fixed asap! This is driving me crazy every day.
Who even requested this feature? What is the use case and application need that this change made product fit?

I recommend on feature that when I pay to Microsoft, it will pay only the selected part of the amount. I will probably select the 0 :)
Please allow us to disable this "killer" feature.
