I used to use a table in an email to create a list of availability for meetings, something that I do 2-12 times a day and often for a full month. It was easy, I had the replay email open beside the calendar and just added into a table.
We finally moved to 2016 and it's painful. The table button is there but it does nothing. The suggested workaround from Microsoft to paste a table from Word/Excel doesn't work because I can't make changes to the table.
Who in heaven's name decided to remove this feature? -

Ditto...wherefore art thou, my Tables function in 16.10?
Odd thing is some colleagues still have it after the update, others do not. (We are all on enterprise licensed desktop version, not O365). Sounds like a bug to me....

Hello team I am using Office365 Outlook ver 16.10 for Mac and as of now I cannot find an option to insert a table.

Why is this up for a vote? This is a basic function needed for a better UX. Stop penalising your users because they are not using a PC. This function has excited on windows outlook since 2007 and probably before.

I totally don't get why this feature would be missing. I frequently create tables in outlook and am now being asked to abandon my Parallel Desktop (microsoft outlook version) in favor of the outlook for Mac. I have never been very thrilled with Outlook on my Mac and now am less thrilled. Please make this a feature.

it is crazy that this feature doesn't exist. I use my Mac as byoc and this makes it very hard.
