Bug: Format Paragraph… not available in table
The command is not in the menubar under "Format", only in the right click menu. Right clicking in a table cell the command is missing from the context menu. The shown shortcut for "Paragraph…" ⌥⌘M does not work, even when disabling the conflicting same shortcut for "Minimize Window". So it is not possible to access paragraph format options inside a table cell. Please consider to fix.

Fix Preferences > Rules screen to better describe rule errors and not be more strict that Web/Windows Outlook
Please fix the Rules validations on Mac Outlook! I'm running 16.34 (20020900), and it seems like EVERY ONE OF MY RULES fails validation and Mac Outlook will not tell me what the problem is. It just marks the whole rule as having an error and only gives me the option of REMOVING IT ENTIRELY or inspecting it WITHOUT TELLING ME WHAT THE VALIDATION ISSUE IS!
My rules caused no issue on Windows Outlook and I can still edit and maintain them using the Web Outlook 365. They also appear to function on the server.

Bug: Outlook Message Disappears
Just wanted to give some feedback on the latest version of Outlook (16.36 - 20031800). Occasionally when composing emails, the text and header disappear. They reappear if I resize the message window. It appears to happen mostly when I move the cursor outside the message window to check something else.

I have encountered a bug with Smart folders (Outlook for Mac v16)
This is the only forum I could readily use to submit the bug since Microsoft doesn't seem to have an easy way to identify a bug. The bug has been present in numerous older versions; I just finally found the problem to a symptom I've had for years.
Smart Folders enables the use of search criteria to establish a view of emails as an alternate to the folders in which they reside. I have been using a simple smart folder with criteria "all mail received in the last ## days." I've been using 3 days. It turns out that, although…

Change the outlook calendar view so that the times on the calendar daily view do not jump around or change when you make an appointment.
I would like outlook calendar view to work like it does in the windows version, from this standpoint. in the outlook calendar(daily view), when i type in an appointment and then save it, my daily view of calendar times change. i start my workday at 9am to 5 pm. In other words, as you look at "daily" view, at the top it begins at 9am and ends at 5pm. after changing an appointment that day, or starting a new appointment, the daily calendar jumps or moves a couple of hours. So I have to drag the calendar back so i…

Fix the Autoresponder Function under IMAP settings
Autoresponder doesn't work under IMAP. You've to force the email out. I don't know if this would be a problem if there was an Autoresponder folder, like Inbox and Sent. With the world as it is, I would have though having a folder that contained all the sent autoresponder emails would be a given. This was you can see what autoresponders have been sent, and have proof that "at least" the message was sent.
Whether as a sub folder of sent items, or a folder in its own right.

Fix frequent calendar hangs
EVERY operation in the calendar (receive invitation, accept/decline invitation, save appointment, open appointment, appointment reminders, etc.) triggers a 15-20 second hang for the whole Outlook application. This is unacceptable for a platform I need to use all day every day!

Outlook web app 0365 and Outlook 0365 for Mac OSX Calendar overlay issue
The Outlook Web App Microsoft 0365 and Outlook client 0365 for Mac OSX won't allow me to overlay more then 3 shared calendars at a time, but in Microsoft Windows 10 using the same version of the Outlook client 0365 allows me though. Also, for some reason some of the calendar data from another shared calendar ended up in another persons shared calendar via the Outlook Web App not sure why either. If you can possible patch or create a fix to resolve this issue that would very much appreciated as this is not allowing our end-users using multiple shared…

Add Preference to Disable/Enable Left-Right Swiping in Mailbox
Users with a Magic Mouse/TrackPad have likely experienced, as I have, that when selecting messages in a mailbox (Inbox, drafts, Sent, etc.), it is far too easy to swipe left or right and show the options to "Delete" or "Archive" a message. I'm sure this is necessary on a mobile device, but on a desktop device using an input like Magic Mouse, it is really annoying. It could also be potentially dangerous if you accidentally Delete or Archive a message unknowingly.
There should be an preference/option to disable that swiping gesture from the message list.
373 votesWe now have the ability to customize gestures or even disable them! Available in Outlook 16.11 and above. See here for details – https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Outlook-Blog/Outlook-for-Mac-now-supports-swipe-gesture-customization-in/ba-p/158208

Fix IMAP Root Folder
The IMAP Root Folder setting is not working in Outlook for Mac for years now. The Windows version abides by this setting and will show folders correctly. On IMAP servers who require the root folder to be set (for example "INBOX"), Outlook has this setting but ignores it, showing all the IMAP server folders as childs under Inbox. This is infuriating, please fix :D
