  1. Add the ability to set a reminder at a specific date and time for a whole calendar...

...and not only x minutes/hours before appointment.

I have a separate calendar with custom recuring all day appointments. I want to be able to get a notification/reminder for every appointment on 9am one day before the appointment occur.

The current way is to set the reminder to 11 hours for every appointment which is a lot of work if you get an .ics file with many appointments. It would be very useful if you can set it on the calendar as a defaultvalue instead of the appointment itself. At least it should be possible to multiselect appointments and set a…

  2. Flatten the UI to match OSX

The current OSX verison of Outlook still feels like the previous version on the UI front with the icons and buttons inside the app. I would suggest using a similar set of icons that the Windows version uses and give it a flatter look at better alines with OSX.

Additionally improve the notification box UI so that it is flatter, and an overall cleaner look.

  3. Make search look and work like it does for Windows

The search function for the Windows version of Outlook is fast, easy to use, and in a convienient location. The version for Mac is in the upper right corner, not easy to quickly select search options, and overall is not as easy to use.

Move the search box to the same location on the Mac client and allow for quick drop downs on what to search for. Overall make search on the Mac just as fast and easy to use as the Windows version

  4. Expand conversation view with messages from "Send Items"

At the moment the send messages are not displayed in a conversation view. Please add the ability to view this messages like it is in the windows version.

  5. I STILL can't preview or print emails after nearly three weeks! And why are my deleted emails accumulating?

I STILL can't preview or print emails after nearly three weeks! And why do my deleted emails continue to accumulate? And the number of "Sent" emails doesn't show up.

  7. Time to leave

Add "Time to Leave" as alert option for appointments.

Using current location -> location of invite similar to how the iPhone does it. We understand this may require upstream changes to Office 365 unless it currently supports it.

  8. Change order of tasks shown when 'ordered by due date'

Currently, when you order the tasks by due date (most urgent on top), it puts the 'no due date' taks on top and then by order of immediate due date to later due date. Most of the tasks with 'no due date' are not important and should be at the end, or at least the user should have an option somewhere to configure the urgency of tasks with 'no due dates'. Current work around is to assign a due date for a year ahead or so. Please give an option to show 'no due date' tasks after the ones with…

  9. After deleting an email, jump to next unread email

I prefer having new emails on top. Currently after deleting an email, the next highlighted email is the one I previously read (next in line, below the deleted email). There should be an option to move to the next unread email instead. It would be easier to read through emails beginning with the oldest unread email (lowest of the highlighted unread emails), and delete through the list, and move UPwards.

  11. Attachments

I wish there was a way to search through meetings for everything with an attachment of a certain size. My IT dept puts mailbox limits and having 4 years of attachments sitting in calendar meetings is killing me.

  12. Delegate unable to send on behalf of someone

Executives, Corporate Communications and others often need to send on behalf of someone or a list. This is only available in Outlook for the PC. Can this be added for Outlook for Mac?

  13. Improve handling of attachments

Support rich text (in-line attachments). Allow annotation of attachments using OSX's native control (or using preview).

  14. Allow to scroll the calendar (month view) using the mouse wheel

Like in Outlook for PC or Apple Calendar it is possible to gradually scroll through time by just using the mouse-scroll-wheel.
On the Outlook Mac version you can only jump back and forth month by month and only via the buttons in the upper left corner.

  17. Recover Deleted Items Support

Add support to access the recoverable items area of the mailbox - e.g. to be able to right-click on Deleted Items and select "Recover Deleted items". This would allow users to display the Recoverable Items dialog and undelete items that were deleted in error, just like in Outlook for Windows.

  18. Add "Recall this message" function and support message recalls from Windows clients

Add "Recall this message" function so that you can recall messages sent in error. Also support message recalls that are sent from Outlook for Windows users - at the moment message recalls just come through as an email but don't automatically remove unread emails like Outlook for Windows does.

  19. Restore AppleScript support for third party apps

Because of the current implementation of sandboxing, third party apps can no longer interact with Outlook (I'm thinking about SpamSieve, but it applies to a number of apps).
There are ways around that and I would love the future versions of Outlook to allow AppleScript from third party apps again.

  20. Creating new mail folders, default should be below inbox not in the inbox.

When creating new folders, default should be below the inbox. Not in the inbox.
"The Inbox syncs more frequently than any other and should be kept as clean as possible. (this is the number one cause of problems with sync). Do NOT make subfolders under the Inbox."
