  1. remember password

Occasionally, an account cannot authenticate and throws up an ENTER PASSWORD box which makes sense....EXCEPT, I have already entered my password and checked the box that says "remember my password for this account". Once I do that the first time, it should NEVER, EVER, EVER, need to ask me for a password again....just keep that and store it, and use that password to authenticate the next time. I can't believe how often an account cannot authenticate despite the same password being entered.

  2. Add the option to schedule reminder emails on a daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or choosing other options.

I would like to see an option to schedule reminder emails. When you have something that you need to remember daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or just random days and you need others involved as well. This would be great is you need to send out an email that is the same each week to remind others of things that need to be done. I know that the calendar does this, but sometimes we need an email to be sent instead and it might need to be sent weekly.

Example: You need employees to respond to your email weekly with information…

  3. iOS-like standalone, lightweight app

I would happily pay €10-20 for a lightweight, standalone Outlook Mac app, similar to the apps on iOS.

Standard Outlook is super heavy, clunky and has about a million features I never use. The iOS app has been a revelation and I would love to see something similar on the Mac.

Ideally this would come free to 365 subscribers, but even as a subscriber I think I'd happily pay for a really good, clean app.

  4. Change in email "status" would not occur until email was either resorted or folder collapsed and reopened

If your email is sorted by Status, opening or changing the status of an Unread email immediately moves it to Sent or Read and you lose your place in the list of Unread emails. Leaving the email in place until either the folder was collapsed and reopened, or the sorting criteria was changed, would prevent this and make it easier for those of us managing larger numbers of unread emails. This "feature" would apply to each folder so the change in status wouldn't "move" the email until resorted or collapsed and reopened the folder.

  5. Have a preference setting to never show the mini-calendars in the sidebar.

this could either be a Preferences setting to always hide the mini calendars, and/or could be a disclosure triangle in the sidebar. OR, Outlook could simply remember the amount of mini calendar I want to display. It just gets in my way and if I drag its bottom border up to hide it, it is always exposed again when I re-launch outlook.

  6. Add "Clean Up Folder" feature like Outlook for Windows

Outlook for Windows has has had "Clean Up Folder" feature for years. This is a tremendously useful feature that deletes redundant email. Please add this to Mac Outllook.

  8. Allow (email) folders to be reordered like on Outlook for Windows

Outlook for Windows allows the user to reorder his/her (email) folders in any way they want (see https://blogs.office.com/2012/12/05/reorder-your-folders-any-way-you-like-em/ ).

This should be possible on Outlook for Mac as well.

The order should also be synchronized through Exchange.

  9. Support GAL mac

    MAC support for GAL
Currently MAC's and OWA us EWS for Address book lookup. The GAL should be available to Mac users. This has been a issue for many years.

  13. Mac outlook 2016 integration with iTunes

I'd like to see the same integration of outlook (contact, calendar, notes) with iTunes and sync operations as exists in the windows platform of outlook and iTunes.

  15. Add 'date' to sorting function. I would like this to be like windows version as you can see replies to emails together rather

Add 'date' to sorting function. I would like this to be like windows version as you can see replies to emails together rather than only seeing sent or received emails.

I have folders where I drag all my received and sent emails and like to see responses to emails etc.

Saves lots of time and avoids confusion of thinking if you have sent an email or not when you responded.

  16. allow users to "reply all - with attachments"

if i have received an email with an attachment, and want others to see the attachment as well as my response to those that sent it in first place, only way to do that now is to "forward it" and then recapture all addresses of those that sent it.....would be much easier if a "reply all with attachments" existed.

  17. Follow OS Setting When Double Clicking Title Bar

In OS X, there is a setting under System Preferences -> Dock labeled "Double-click a window's title bar to:". The options are minimize and zoom. Whenever you double click the title bar on Office 2016, it always minimizes the screen instead of following the OS setting.

  18. How to associate an Outlook folder with a Web page

Please add the capability of changing the properties of a sub folder to point it to a web page. This function exists within the Windows version and it allows us to use a sub folder as a pointer to our online Symantec email vault.
