  1. Don't use the mail.app "send" shortcut for "discard"

The macOS Mail keyboard shortcut for sending a message is Command_Shift+D. Using the same shortcut for the exact opposite, discarding a draft, is incredibly frustrating for people using muscle memory.

  2. signature editor support for base64 images in signatures like Apple Mail supports...

    hello,
like the signature editor... but still lacks of some features...
there is no support for base64 images...
    also SVG are not supported...
if i'll use base64 or svg images... they get converted when saving to png images...
so plz plz add support for base64 and svg in signatures...
also would be nice to use same signature format on Mac as on PC -> .html !
than exchange signatures it's not a probem anymore

Outlook for iOS DOES support base64 in signatures...!
    Why not Outlook for Mac
Why uses every app different signature styling???

  3. Ability to Remove SENT messages from Conversation view on New Outlook for Mac like in Classic View

With the New Outlook update there is no way to remove the SENT messages from a conversation view in Inbox like there was on the Classic Outlook for Mac (pre-update). This adds an insane amount of clutter to the inbox. Seeing as there is already a Sent Folder and improved search this should not be a forced experience to have them automatically be shown in Conversation View.

  4. Add agenda items to individual meetings in a series

Attendees and organizers who have a series of meetings should be able to add agenda items to a specific instance of the meeting. Currently, I have a series of 1:1s (some of which I organized and some of which I'm an attendee). Most people in our company track the agenda items for those meetings in Google docs because there's not easy way to add agenda items to a meeting without resending the entire invitation. Many meetings scheduled in a series don't have a fixed agenda for each meeting; rather, each meeting needs its own, flexible agenda. Ideally, this agenda would…

  5. On a Mac, Allow OPTION + SHIFT + K to type an Apple logo in MS365 apps

On a Mac, in most non-Microsoft apps, if you type OPTION + SHIFT + K, you get the Apple logo. It would be great if you could enable that, at least in Word & Outlook.

    Thank you

  7. Enable to choose due date for flag

When flagging an email, it should be possible to set a due date for follow up

  8. Use the preferences menu in outlook for Mac.

Mac Users will expect almost all of their settings options to be accessible from the preferences pane. But you have settings scattered and hidden all over the place. Trying to change your profile photo is insanely difficult. Just put all of that stuff in preferences, please. That is the expected way for mac apps.

  9. Make the Windows desktop "Outlook Today" view available as a default (preconfigured) view macOS Outlook desktop and Outlook365.

The "Outlook Today" view available on Windows 10 Outlook desktop is the best view for someone who needs to stay on top of the day's scheduled meetings and tasks (organized by due date) that require work but don't warrant a meeting or appointment. The only thing I'm seeing in the email is the number of unread items -- no subjects or "froms" displayed to distract me.

  12. Format Painter missing from new Outlook (October 2020)

The format painter option is no longer displayed by default - you have to pop-out the mail message into a separate window. Other text edit tools are displayed (font, colour etc), but the format painter option is missing (not able to add to cutomise toolbar either).

  15. Support local (on my Mac) storage of email files

Hard to believe, but the new Outlook doesn't support storing of emails locally on my Mac.

The old Outlook (Outlook for Mac v16.42 does support email stored locally. This is a critical feature which you've dropped.

What were you thinking Microsoft??? Are you trying to drive me to a non-Microsoft email client? It sure looks that way.

  17. focus time

When scheduling "focus time" in calendar, Cortana should allow me to schedule this time in a different color, so it is easy for me to see where I have "mental breaks" in the day or when I will be able to do my follow-up tasks from my meetings in the day.

  18. inboxes, reading pane, and calendar feel cramped in the new outlook

Reduce the space between different sections so more relevant information can be on screen at one time

  19. New Outlook does not support window tiles on 1080p

The new outlook does not support tiling two main windows on a 1080p monitor, presumably because the window minimum size is too large. This is very unfortunate because I like to have a full email window and a full calendar window side by side on a maximized secondary monitor. Please fix!

  20. Folder carbon copy (FCC)

Currently, all of my replies are stored in the 'Sent' folder by default, but I'd really like to be able to specify which folder to store a reply into. In other email clients, this is known as "folder carbon copy" (FCC). Would be really great if you could add this functionality to Outlook.
