  1. Include "Email from Template" under the "New Items" button on the ribbon

In the Ribbon, under the “New Items” button, there are options for Email, Appointment, etc. The same options are in the File Menu -> New. However, the File Menu -> New has 1 additional option: Email from Template.

Please add “Email from Template” to the “New Items” button in the Ribbon. See attached screenshot

  3. Enable Full Outlook Window Resize for Scaled Displays

Enable the user to resize the Outlook window to whatever size they want to prevent issues with scaling.

Currently, I have my Mac OS X monitor scaled to "Larger Text" (the largest text option available), which effectively makes my monitor 1024x640. This is to ensure that all text is as legible as possible.

Unfortunately, it seems as if the Mac Outlook Window has a minimum height/width setting, which makes the window too large for a 1024x640 screen. When I have more than one monitor, this can be particularly annoying, as it spills out into the next window. The only way…

  5. Option to open to All Accounts inbox

Give the option for the application on Mac to open to All Accounts inbox instead of one of the individual accounts. This will allow the user to open the application to the all mailboxes instead of just landing on one (seemingly random and not the default) account.

  6. Add another sound set other than "Default" on Mac

On Mac you cannot really do any customization of sounds other than toggle them off or on. There is only the "Default" sound set on the sound set drop-down.

  7. Outlook for Mac is a sick joke.

I suggest you stop treating Outlook for Mac like an unwanted step-child. And, put it on par with Outlook for Windows. If Mozilla Thunderbird can do it, you certainly can. As it stands now, Outlook for Mac is a total joke. And, a bad joke at that. Thunderbird beats it like an old country rug, and is FREE!

  9. Allow to open MSG attachments

Whenever Windows users attach another email from Outlook for Windows I have to go to OWA to be able to open this attachment. This is not right. Please add support for MSG files.

  10. Allow for reordering the side bar

Consider allowing the sidebar to be reordered. Changing the order that multiple accounts are listed it. Also allow smart folders to be moved up;. Thanks!

  11. Personalisation Synchronise via Cloud

When making changes within the preferences, the customisations should sync via the Office 365 cloud, to allow the user to have the same personalised experience across devices.
Example would be Outlook on MacBook Pro and iMac or iPhone and iPad.

  12. Provide Outlook (or Word) with a different decoration color.

It is easy to spot my Excel and PP windows, they have unique colors. Outlook and Word have the same color, blue. Since I run Outlook all the time, it would help if it were a different and unique color. Yellow, Purple or whatever.

  14. Preferred the previous style of Outlook, new format looks plain and child like, not easy on the eyes. Classic look preferred.

  15. View Calendar when in Mail view

In older (possibly non-Mac) versions of Outlook I was able to view my calendar on the right side of the Outlook window, while I was also reviewing my email. I haven't been able to find a way to add the calendar to this view. It's helpful to be able to keep an eye on upcoming meetings while reviewing email, without having to switch to the calendar view.

  16. Need .PST functionality on macOS

Implement offline data file functionality on macOS similar to windows.

If I ask myself what sets apart outlook from macOS mail, it is the way offline data handling is implemented in outlook. Once you are used to the convenience of using .PST files you are hooked to Outlook for the rest of your life.

Which makes me wonder why it is implemented so differently on macOS. if one has to settle for anything less, then one might as well use the native mail app on macOS and steer clear of Outlook altogether.

I would love to get the .pst functionality…

  18. Noticed some changes in Outlook 365 since I updated to iOS Mojave version 10.14.2 for MAC. Are updates coming soon?

I am using iOS Mojave 10.14.2. It would be nice if MS Outlook 365 changed with my preferences for either Light Mode or Dark Mode. Right now I seem to have half light and half dark. Before I did the Apple update MS Outlook had changed over to Dark Mode (after a less recent Microsoft Update).
