  2. Outlook 2016 should behave like a modern Mac application

Outlook should behave like a modern Mac application and remember all of the windows you previously had open when launching Outlook.

I frequently have 5 to 10 emails open in separate windows. Some are existing messages that I need to reply to and some are ones that I am currently replying to. And yes I know that the ones you are working on are saved as drafts and you can add reminders to work on others, etc. but if these windows aren't re-opened after I launch Outlook I will often forget I have drafts I am working on or forget…

Interface change, something more like apple mail, simple without many posters, minimalist fine edges, option buttons with no text, more colors,

  9. Trello and Evernote integration

Integrate Trello and Evernote. More specifically:
    1) Trello: sync Trello calendars directly in calendar (Sunrise is one of the few apps that does this)
    2) provide direct access to Trello cards and Evernote directly from each email (similar to CloudMagic).

I would gladly pay for both of these options.

  11. Perform Sync when Quitting Outlook

Whenever I quit Outlook, a sync doesn't take place leaving Outlook in a different state than the server is. For example, if I delete several emails and then quit Outlook, these emails are not synched back to the server. If I check email on a different device later, these email still appear in their original folders. This is very annoying to say the least. I would really call this a defect. In fact, i have stopped using Outlook and have gone back to Apple's Mail Program for just this reason.

  12. Add a Global "Do Not Disturb" Option

While in meetings, especially when screen sharing, it is important that Outlook remains open, however, we cannot have reminders going off, new mail notifications showing up, etc. Although there is an option to turn off reminders in the main menu, we have to go into settings and turn all the other mail notifications off as well. It would be so helpful and efficient, if we could just turn it all off and on with a single click. No sounds, no reminders, no popups, or overlays. Not having to go through and disable them all separately only for a short time…

  14. Ability to Disable Dock Notification Envelope

I disabled all notifications and unchecked “Badge app icon”, but the outlook icon still changes to show new email.

This is a defect (NOT an enhancement) violates Apple’s rules about notifications.

What is the plan to resolve this defect?

  16. Follow OS Setting When Double Clicking Title Bar

In OS X, there is a setting under System Preferences -> Dock labeled "Double-click a window's title bar to:". The options are minimize and zoom. Whenever you double click the title bar on Office 2016, it always minimizes the screen instead of following the OS setting.

  17. autodiscover

Outlook 2010 and 2013 for Windows allow whitelisting of redirected autodiscover servers, which will prevent users from being presented with an "Outlook was redirected to the server <server fqdn> to get new settings for your account..." warning. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2480582 An equivalent function in Office 2016 for Mac would be very useful. Personally I would expect to see the list stored in the user's Outlook preferences .plist.

  18. cursor

Hide the mouse cursor while typing... This is standard on the Mac (and has been since the 1980's.) When you type, the mouse pointer goes away, thus preventing it from obscuring the text you are typing.

  20. Command options

When your Exchange mailbox gets wonky, you shouldn't have to log into a Windows machine just to run outlook.exe /cleanfreebusy.

    Silly.
