Make Outlook more readable
Outlook has become less and less readable over the past year. There has been a shift toward light fonts and colors, and it makes the software less usable overall (especially for your visually impaired users). The most recent change was changing the "Accept, Tentative, Decline" buttons for calendar invites to use a very light blue.
Please make Outlook more readable again.

Add scheduling back into Office for Mac.
Scheduling is great for automating folder cleanup. Not having to rely on server side cleanup is great.

Alert before quitting Outlook
Too many times I have mistakenly hit command+Q and quitting Outlook, with many emails sitting on my desktop that I had to respond to. If Outlook quits without a "Warning: do you want to quit <Quit Outlook> <Cancel>" then it should automatically bring opened emails and all else to the exact same state when it quit.

Common Backup File Format for Mac and Windows
Hello!
Outlook should have the same backup file formats, regardless of the platform/host. If neither PST or OLM are appropriate, a new file type should be developed to become a universal standard, in order to create seamless workflows.
Currently, is like having two Photoshop file types (PSD and PSSomething), depending on the operating system you're working, making it a very unproductive process.1 vote -

Change color of some Folders in Navigation Side
Handy if you can give a Folder in the navigation list a color (from text or from background, same way as you can do in Mac OS). So it is more easy to find important folders if you have a long list in navigation screen when your scrolling down.

Put all the office apps in the top ribbon/ make them visually apparent.
People in my university didn't even know of the various apps that were available after signing in to office 365.. So the yammer remained dormant for a long time :(. Why not put them in bright colours on the top ribbon of the all ubiquitous mail?

Menu items in main Window Outlook 2016
I'm not sure about the international versions, but in the Dutch (NL) version of Outlook 2016 for Mac, the second menu-item on the left is named "Archief", which, of course, means Archive. It used to be "file" in Outlook 2011.
However, NONE of the actions in the drop-down are related to 'archive', they are (mostly) related to message, or calendar item, contact person, task, or note. Is it to much asked to change the name of it to these particular functions, depending on the window we're in? Or at least change it back to 'file', or 'item'.1 vote -

Bug fix: Typing disappears from Contact Notes during Send/Receive operations. Workaround is to "Work Offline" Klunky!
Fix the bug! This was a bug-a-boo in Outlook 2011. Frustrating to find it's worse in 2016. (In 2011 it was only a problem during Send, now it's both Send and Receive)

Allow google contacts and calendar support for ALL Office 2016 MAC users. We are waiting.
Hi,
I have paid and purchased Office2016 for MAC and currently use that for my work e-mail (private e-mail vide IMAP) and Gmail.
All my contacts are in my google account and I want to continue to have it that way.
You have offered the feature to office insider who have an Office 365 account with apps.
So what about the rest of us who paid to buy your software? Don't we get that release soon? It has been too long.
