Customize ribbon
Provide an ability to customize the ribbon, like moving features around. I wanted to move the SEND button farther to the right but can't.

Outlook for Mac should respect system audio output device setting
All notification sounds from Outlook for Mac are played over my built-in speakers, even though my bluetooth headphones are selected as the sound output device. I would expect Outlook for Mac to respect this setting and play all sounds over the selected system output device.

Reorganize your ribbon so that functions are grouped together, OR better yet, allow users to customize their ribbons and quick access toolbars for their own needs as users on a Windows platform can!

Allow users to turn OFF "Select Entire Word"
I often need to precisely select and copy text out of emails, but unlike MS Word, there does not appear to be an option in Outlook to turn off the "Select Entire Word" functionality. As a result, I have to copy chunks of text from Outlook, paste them into a text editing application and then select exactly the characters I need, or I'm forced to spend extra time deleting the extra characters from whatever application I have pasted them in. This is extremely frustrating behavior for some of us and shouldn't be forced on the users with no option to…

Stop asking me to sign up for the new Outlook
I have no doubt that the new Outlook will be great, when it supports all email protocols. Until then, please stop flashing up a notice that I must manually clear asking me to try the new version.
Please also remove the button at the top of the interface inviting me to switch versions. When the new version is actually ready for use, I'll be happy to switch to it.
Since I did not sign up to try Beta versions of your software, I do not want to be regularly reminded to do so.
Thanks.

Best tool to recover your Exchange database
The help of a tool to recover your Exchange database is to let you recover all the Exchange database information like mails, journals, tasks, notes, calendar, contacts etc... It must also ensure that all email properties such as cc, bcc, subject, time etc should be recovered without fail.
This is where a tried and tested Exchange Recovery tool like Enstella can come to your aid. Download and install the free trial version of Enstella to test out all the features that it has to offer for you. The free demo version allows for export of upto 25 items per folder/…1 vote -
Outlook steals focus
Outlook is very greedy with focus. Whenever you dismiss or "snooze" a reminder it brings Outlook into the foreground even if you were not using outlook at the time the reminder modal pops up.
This makes the reminders popup not very useful. Every time I get a reminder and dismiss it, Outlook decides to bring my emails and outlook windows into the foreground, which I then have to close to get back to what I was doing (and what the reminder was for in the first place).

Big Sur Update
I'm not a fan of the Big Sur update only due to the folders tab not being editable to pick my exact size I want to see all my folders, I have switched back to the original version as it can do that function. I don't have a huge screen and can't afford for a tab to take up so much space, I just need a see a few words of each folder to know what they are.

For online live lessons during the pandemic using Teams, please can we have option to see all faces/students' work in a class like with Zoom
For online live lessons during the pandemic using Teams, please can we have the option to see all faces/students' work in a class like with Zoom. This would bring the online live lessons closer to face-to-face lessons and help with assessment and maintaining class community.

Add the ability to insert image via URL on a Mac
This feature is needed for signatures so it points to a URL instead of embedding an attached image. This is currently impossible to do in Outlook (including the web browser version) on a Mac. Please consider adding it in the Insert image menu.

Allow dates to be picked in the correct format
The date picker for new calendar items, follow-up reminders and probably other date pickers are in dumb month/date/year format instead of using the system short date format.

Restore basic functionality (add-ins) for the New Outlook for Mac
The new outlook for Mac seems to be missing some basic functionality that was available in the old version, in the form of Add-ins. Some Add-ins that are essential for my work are missing, and trying to re-enable them results in the error message"Sorry, we can't complete this operation right now. Please try again later". It seems crazy to me that Microsoft would release 'upgraded' software that lacks functionality available in the previous version.

MacOS style cursor actions for arrow keys and mouse
In Mac applications that use the standard Apple text input libraries, the cursor behaves as follows:
When the cursor is on the first line of a document, pressing the Up arrow key moves the cursor to the beginning of the line. Dragging up with the mouse highlights everything to the left of the cursor.
When the cursor is on the last line of a document, pressing the Down arrow key moves the cursor to the end of the line. Dragging down with mouse highlights everything to the right of the cursor.
In Outlook and other Microsoft Mac applications, these actions…

Outlook for Mac has a minimum height, enforcing a UI design decision on your users. Please remove this so we can use the product as we see fit.

Outlook is unable to save search folder scope setting
I have a search folder for All-Mails, though it could save the search condition, it's unable to save the search scope. I need to change the scope from "Current Folder" to "Subfolders" everytime, and every time I leave the search folder it pops up asking me if I want to save the search setting.

Stop asking me if I want to save changes when I haven't made changes
For as long as I've used Office related software, I have noticed that when I exit the program or document, I get a prompt asking me if I want to save changes, even when I haven't made any changes. I first noticed this years and years ago with Word but lately I see it with Outlook when I open up a calendar entry, click on an embedded link, then close the entry. It happens sometimes but not always. It is a trivial nuisance but I find it incredibly irritating. I do not like that the program thinks I've made a…
