  1. Additional line for addresses should appear in the contact card

When entering someones address you should allow for a second and third line for things like a suite, apartment or office (the same way you do in Outlook for Windows).

  2. Extra alphabetical sort options needed for contacts

when you use the alphabetical sorting of contacts (on first or last name), there should be a possibility to choose a second criterium or a standar way to make the sorting more logical.

When you choose sorting on first name and have several people with the same first name for example you get things like this

    Adam King
    An Goodman
    An Bloom
    An King
    An Arrow
    Ben Hoover
    ..

    instead of

    Adam King
    An Arrow
    An Bloom
    An Goodman
    An King
    Ben Hoover
    ...

  3. Sort Contacts by Company Name instead of the first name of the contact within the company.

..and enable "File As" field as in Outlook for Windows.
Also preserve text formatting in Contact Notes such as Bold when importing Contacts from .pst file.

  6. Add the ability to hide outlook groups/ Place groups in a separate tab.

Outlook Groups that you are in automatically show up in the Mail Tab, without the ability to disable them. Adding that ability or adding a separate Groups tab would be helpful for those that need to simplify the veiw for email.

  7. Allow additional address line in contact

Many, if not the majority, of business addresses contain multiple lines (Suite, Bldg, etc.). I see no ability to add these to a contact.

  8. Add more control over the "Recent Addresses" or "Auto-Complete" Feature

I would like to suggest adding more control over these features. Specifically adding the ability to turn the feature off completely. Also to add a feature to prevent certain addresses from being added to the list. Like a blacklist, to prevent junk emails from populating constantly and peoples personal email addresses. This would help prevent sending emails to the wrong addresses.

  10. Support Labels for Google (Gmail) contacts / people

Google contacts (like mail) uses labels for categorization of people.
Please also support the function in Outlook People.
At least sync the information and make it available for smart folders, or also have the ability to update the information in Outlook directly.

Thanks and keep on the great work of constantly improving Office for Mac :-)

  11. Export vCards

In addition to forwarding a vCard in an e-mail, please include simply exporting a vCard to somewhere on the compute. It's annoying to have to create an e-mail, drag the attached vCard to my computer, then cancel the e-mail. It looks unprofessional to have to use that workaround.

  13. Visualize contacts by multi-item list: to see at the same time phones, emails, creation date, etc.

Improve view of contact list: ability to see many fields (email, phone, creation date, etc.), to choose these fields and to sort contacts by fields.

  14. I suggest you provide for making the mac address book as default for ms outlook 2016 for mac

provide for making mac address book as default option for outlook instead of people. Generally mac users also use iPad, iPhone etc., and hence address book alterations gets affected in all connected devices thus providing the latest details for contacts like email address etc.,

  16. Save Contacts to Address Book of default account

Whenever a user saves a contact from vcard, it should be saved in the default accounts address book instead of saving it locally.

  20. Automatically display photo for an email based on Gravatar / Facebook / LinkedIn / etc

If there is no image associated with a contact/email address, Outlook should fetch a public image from Gravatar, Facebook, or LinkedIn.

This should be configurable - users can specify which sources they would like to use and in what priority order.
