  2. viewing shared sub-contacts folder

With Outlook for PC, you can create and share a contact folder. You cannot view the other User's sub-folders from Outlook for the Mac. You can only "Open Other User's Folder" and select "Address Book". There is no option to view or select the sub-contact address book.

  3. Unlock address field when using Google email account

When you setup your email account as Google account you are unable to add an address to a new contacts (address field is locked).

However to add address to contacts, as a workaround, you can login to the webmail and add/ modify the contact which will then synchronize to Outlook.

In my opinion this functionality needs to be enabled urgently in Outlook for Mac.

  5. Edit groups in Outlook for Mac.

This is basic 101. And a big WTF. Are you serious microsoft - it is NOT 1984. Please enable editing of groups in Mac for Ouitlook.
WTF do I even have to ask for this? This is just pure laziness! Even Trump would have enabled this function and he is a walking zombie.

  6. import wab file

Create the possibility to import contact information from an old .wab file (from Outlook Express) into Outlook for Mac.

Alternatively, provide a simple utility to read .wab files and output the information into a .csv file, which seems to already be supported for transferring contact information.

  7. Allow Modifications To How Contacts and Groups are listed

Would be nice to select what shows up on the second line below the contact. Right now it's a phone # or title (if phone # isn't entered). I'd prefer for it to list who they work for (or offer up a choice).

Second, in the group list, it only shows the names and emails in the group. Why not include their business, phone number or some other quick to obtain info about who is in the group?

  9. Put the categories back in sidebar!

Put the categories back in the sidebar! Why on earth would you take that feature away? Now I can't view contacts or calendar by category, rendering the categories essentially useless.

  10. Add Birthday Without Year

You should be able to add a person's birthday without having to add their year (as is possible in the native calendar app for Mac). It is very often the case that you know someone's birthday without knowing the year and without needing to know the year, yet it's impossible to add a birthday without having the year, or putting in a random year that's wrong.

  12. Contacts, People ... pictures are way too small.

Make them adjustable, bigger, and an option for sizes along with round. Under Outlook Preferences, add in a 'photo' size adjustment. Having pictures allow easy recall of the client, professional contact, or wholesaler. Its useful when your practice has 200 professional contacts. Please change this.

  15. A setting for choosing the display name syntax for contacts.

At the moment there isn't a possibility to change the display name. Outlook for MAC has always the syntax "given name" and "surname" but it would be very helpful to change this because it has also an impact to my Outlook for Windows 10.

  16. Auto Trim e-mail addresses when pasted into a contact

When an e-mail is pasted into the contact field it looks like this: > Outlook should auto trim off each side of the e-mail address so it works in this field.

  17. Add Contact List (Groups) synchronization with Exchange Server.

Please add Contact List (Groups) synchronization with Exchange Server.

Having to enable "On My Computer folders" and store them locally is disappointing.

    Thank you.

  18. Improve Search Feature

I have a hard time finding contacts when using the search feature. Most of my searches turn up "no match found" but they are in my contacts. It's very frustrating to have to work so hard to pull up a contact.
