Change the owner of a meeting or meeting series

I’ve had a number of situations recently where I’ve handed over responsibility for a thing (event, launch, campaign, whatever) to someone else and wanted to have them take ownership of all the artefacts around that thing. Or even have a co-host (for example someone is taking care of the location and needs to update that or the call-in information

In particular, it’s a pain to hand over recurring (or even non-recurring) meetings.

I’d really like the ability to “transfer ownership” in a meeting to someone else – probably via an offer…

  2. template appointment

Please make available the option to save a calendar appointment as template.

Under Windows I used the "save as" > template for appointments often. Unfortunately the "save as" is disabled in appointments, while it is available in e-mails (which I use even more often, too).

  5. Create Teams meeting

You guys have a Create Teams meeting for the PC. I would simply like to also have this feature on the Mac.

  7. Turn off alerts for specific accounts

I like being able to see my Google events integrated with my work ones in Outlook, but I don't need to see alerts for it in Outlook! I refuse to give up my existing calendar program (Fantastical), so now I get duplicate notifications from both apps.

Please give us the ability to turn off calendar event notifications only for specific accounts, so that I can keep notifications for work events, but turn off personal ones.

  8. Use the same category colors and calendar design like on PC

Please use the same category colors and calendar design (mainly the month view) as it exists on Outlook for PC. The monthly calendar view on the PC looks so much more professional (whats the point of these ugly black borders around calendar events?)

I don't see any reason why category colors are slightly different on the Mac compared to the PC version of Outlook. Especially the faint category colors when using multiple calendars are absolutely terrible (eg. white text on light grey background)

    If've posted an example here:

  9. Auto-Dismiss Overdue Reminders

Add a feature to allow auto-dismissal of Overdue Reminders. It would also be nice to have the ability to specify how long after the event has ended until the reminder is auto-dismissed.

  10. open reminders

Bring back the ability to allow Outlook reminders to pop up even when Outlook is closed. I shouldn't have to keep my email client open just to receive meeting and other reminders.

  12. Move events

I would like to be able to move 'event1' from my main calendar to a secondary calendar without having to delete and re-add to the other calendar. I can do this in the drop down menu of my O365 instance and outlook does see the change, I would just like to be able to do it from within outlook.

  13. calendar

Add the possibility to paste images and (links to) documents in a calendar item. In the Windows version this is already possible since more than 5 years.
Very useful to paste information, map, agenda, ... of a conference or meeting.

  14. Support dragging events accepted from a third party between calendar accounts

When a calendar event is received and accepted on one account, it cannot be dragged to a calendar on another account. The PC version of Outlook supports this function.

  16. Set Notifications by Calendar

Outlook notifications appear to be universal and binary; on or off. But I subscribe to many calendars and don't want to receive notifications from all of them. And I'm unable to set alerts preferences for each event on every calendar I subscribe to. I'd like to be able to disable alerts on some calendars and leave others active.

  17. Outlook Calendar Tracking

The Outlook in Mac should provide response Tracking just like the Windows version. This is a must have feature for anybody who organizes multi location meeting on daily basis.

  18. Show group calendars in calendar.app

The group calendars that are visible in Outlook, should be visible in the MacOS native calendar as well. Otherwise they don't really integrate well with the OS.

  19. View with Calendar and Email

It is a pain to open a second main window to view my calendar and email simultaneously. I would love a view with both.

  20. Add Rich Text Formatting to Calendar Invites

One of the features that I miss from the days I was able to use Outlook on Windows is the ability to format the text of Calendar invites, whether appointments or meetings.

It would be great to have the same ability to control the font, font size, bold, italic, underline, colors, bulleting, numbering, etc., through a toolbar that you do when creating new e-mail messages.
