  1. Calendar widget for MacOS

You should be able to add a calendar widget for MacOS - most calendar apps have this feature (Fantastical2 for instance). This would be extremely helpful in looking at upcoming appointments without having to launch the app.

  2. Dim past days and events in outlook

at the moment, all days and events look exactly the same, regardless if that day/even has passed. By dimming any past days and events, the most relevant and pressing events will be highlighted and easy to recognize.

  3. Create Calendar Appointments from a Time or Date in an Email

When reading an email, if there is a time or date in the email, allow me to click on that time/data and create a calendar appointment for that date/time right there. This feature is enabled in OS X Mail and iOS Mail. It would be great to have it in Outlook too.

  5. Provide a lunar calendar so we can keep track of Chinese birthdays.

It is really difficult to keep track of the birthdays of Chinese friends and business associates (and very important!). Please enable recurring birthday reminders to be set according to the Chinese lunar calendar.

  6. Calendar view does not have a scroll bar for all day events list. Maximum viewed is 15.

Outlook 2016 for Mac does not have a scroll option for items greater than 15. This is listed above the Calendar for an given day when in Calendar view. To test this create 20 all day events for the same day. Go to calendar, choose 'Day' and count the amount of All day events in the top of the window. It will not exceed 15.

The option to scroll through these items is available on the PC version of Outlook 2016.

This is a bug in my opinion, not a feature request.

  8. Pinning calendar peek/tasks peek

I always had a "peek" on the right side of my screen that included two months calendars, up to 7 days of events, and outstanding tasks. I recently moved to Mac and it's gone. Can you please bring this feature on for MAC users

  9. Outlook acceptance and declined count

Add a function in outlook that will allow me to see how many people have accepted my meeting invitation instead of having to count them manually, or at least allow me to copy them and paste them into excel for my count.

  11. Add Groups Calendars of members as you can in Windows Version of Outlook.

Normally when you ad a user to a Group and the user shares the calendar you would get that users calendar automatically if you add the group the user are a member of. So if you already have that group added to your calendar the users calendar would automatically turn up.

You can also in the windows version of Outlook add the Groups that the users are member of as a shared callender manually. Then all the members of that group's calendar will turn up.

This is not possible in Outlook for mac for some reason.

    It gives an error…

  13. Allow multiple reminders for a calendar event.

Allow multiple reminders for a calendar event. in Calendar, when you have an appointment / meeting / item / event (whatever it is) you can only set one reminder alert. it would be nice to be able to set multiple reminders, so you can have an alert let’s say 1 hour out, and another 15 mins out, etc. the snooze function is not sufficient

  14. Allow me to set a meeting subject specific to my calendar

When I receive a meeting invite, the meeting originator does not always choose a subject that is easy to understand at a quick glance. I'd like to be able to set a meeting subject that only affects my view of the meeting. For example, a co-worker may invite me to a meeting with the subject "Call"; I'd like to change that on my calendar to be "Call with John regarding user interface error" and that change is only represented on my calendar (it doesn't affect my co-worker's invitation). Any updates that my co-worker sends to the meeting should keep the…

  16. Add swiping abilities to the calendar views

There are now swiping options for emails including deleting and flagging messages. However there are not any swiping options for navigating around the calendar.

When you are in the day, week, or month view it would be very helpful to be able to swipe left or right to go forward or backwards. For example if you are in the week view if you swipe to the left it would move to the next week. Swiping to the right would go to the previous week. This would work the same for day or month views.

The current process of clicking on…

  18. Calendar as a side bar similar to Windows version of Outlook

Windows based Outlook shows the calendar and meeting invites as a side bar/frame. Outlook on MAC is missing this.

  19. Private appointments should be visible (but not readable) when sharing a calendar.

Private appointments are not displayed at all in shared calendars and displayed as free. On Outlook for Windows, the details of the private appointment are hidden for all but the owner.
    This is unwanted behaviour.
