  1. Allow users of Office 2011/2016 in Mac to set customer reminders for calendar

I am a user of Outlook on Windows for 15 years and on MacOS for 5 years. There is a feature for calendar reminders on Windows which is not available on Mac version and I would like to request it be introduced in a future upgrade (sooner the better)

I have tested this functionality and confirmed it is available on Windows Outlook 2007-2010-2013-2016 but it is not available on Office for Mac either 2011 or 2016.

When I create a new calendar entry and go to set a reminder, I get the same arbitrary list of reminder times on both…

  2. Add Outlook calendar entries to OS X's "Today" notification panel

I use the Mac OS X notification and Today panels quite a bit -- they're just a keyboard shortcut away. In the Today panel is support for the Mac OS Calendar, but nothing for Outlook. I would appreciate the ability to add Outlook, so I can see everything in one place.

  3. Allow the default snooze time for calendar reminders to be changed

I want to change the default snooze time for calendar reminders to my own preference but I currently have to change the snooze time manually for each event.

  4. Add the ability to save event changes and control sent updates for Calendar invites

PLEASE give us the ability to add new attendees to existing meetings, edit the meeting message, or change event details without sending updates to all attendees. Need to be able to make changes, add new people, etc. and have a choice to send updates or simply save without sending updates. Currently only way to edit events on Outlook for Mac requires hitting "send update" and ALL attendees get invite update... leads to a lot of confusion for clients.

  7. Sharing Secondary Calendars

Please allow Shared Secondary Calendars to show up on Calendar. Both OWA and Outlook for Windows 2016 both show Secondary Calendars which have been shared. Just not Outlook for Mac 2016.

  8. Make the Mac version of Outlook 2016 calendar fully functional

Office 2016 Outlook for Mac is not fully functional (a big disappointment). I cannot see the calendars of fellow employees on our Exchange network (18,000 employees) as I can with the Windows version and this makes trying to schedule meetings with multiple people a nightmare. Is there an upgrade that will add this function soon? Makes Outlook useless unless using a Windows PC (which does not work with most programs we use). Would be an essential add on feature for Otlook 2016 for Mac.

  11. Mark calendar invites as read after accepted

When calendar invites are accepted, they revert to unread when going into trash. Mark invites as read if they are acted upon. This has been a problem since 2012 or earlier. now outlook for mac 2016

  13. Calendar Meetings: copy and better follow up on attendees

Calendar Meetings: copy and better follow up on attendees
Specifically one thing is missing in Outlook for Mac that I would like to see on the mac: The ability to copy the attendee list incl attending status (attending/declined/tentative/no response) to the clipboard.
In Outlook for Windows you can use the Tracking icon to do this.

In general follow up on meeting attendees in Outlook Mac works very poorly. In addition to the above it would also be nice to have some overview info on a meeting like "5 attending, 12 tentative, 3 declined"

  14. Drag email to calendar

I tried to drag an email to calendar to set up an event and it didn't work, for either Outlook 15.40, or for Office 365 in Firefox.

I just downloaded Office 15.40 for Macs, and it installed and ran. I really like the feature of dragging an email to the calendar to set up an event--is it browswer specific?

  15. Shade current day in the calendar view for clarity

The week at a glance view in the Calendar only indicates the current day in the top (where the day and date is highlighted in blue). It would be a lot faster to view/grasp if "today" (the current day) was shaded a different color than the other days.

  17. Add the "go to (date)" feature to the toolbar on Outlook Calendar for Mac-for ease of scheduling future events

Add the "go to (date)" feature to the toolbar on Outlook Calendar for Mac, as it is in Windows-for ease of scheduling future events. Having to arrow forward for months thru the calendar to get to a future date is a waste of time.

  18. calendar reminders off screen

When you resize a screen (or remove an external display) - the calendar reminder pop-up window appears with only the left 5% visible in the lower-right corner of the screen. The entire reminder window should be positioned ON-SCREEN instead.

  20. Add room capacity field to room finder

The room finder option was introduced in version 15.18 but our users depend on quickly finding what the room capacities of what our meeting rooms are.

The current workaround is to either add the capacity into the room notes or renaming the room such as <Location>-<Roomname>-<Capacity>.

Adding notes would work but it would be very time consuming to add and for our users to go through each room.
Renaming the room makes our display names a bit messier looking.
