Add back in the option to allow updates to calendar events to be sent only to the changed (added, deleted, etc) recipient/s!

  4. Add Calendar Invite Control to Outlook 365 for Mac

You need to add the ability in the Mac Version of Office 365 to not auto-delete calendar invitation. Moving the original calendar automatically to Deleted Items is annoying and counter-productive for power users.

  5. Use the last used settings as default when setting a recurrence on an appointment, instead of always defaulting to the same thing

when setting a calendar recurrence, outlook ALWAYS defaults to a weekly recurrence, ending by a year from now. well, as I've never had that particular need for recurrence, why not use the last selected settings? For example, I often set a recurrence of daily, end after 5 occurrences. Why can't this be an automatically created default after I've done it a couple times?

  6. Reminder window pulsate when 5 mins out

When an upcoming event is X minutes out (user gets to set how much time) the event's highlighted line in the reminder window will flash, blink, or pulsate, etc. (again, user gets to decide style of blinking and color).

  7. Make the default alert 2 hours for any meetings taking place before 10:30 AM.

A 15-minute reminder does you no good when a morning commute is in front of you.

  11. "CALL IN" Option for Meeting Invitation

    Adjust the Invitation Response Options:

    • Yes, I'll Attend... IN PERSON

    • Yes, I'll Attend... CALLING IN

    • Maybe

    • No

Meeting Rooms are booked based on the number of attendees that say they will be attending a meeting. BUT there is no option to say that someone is calling in vs attending in person. So Meeting Rooms are booked based on the "YES" responses but the room size may be far larger than is necessary because of those calling in.

  12. Mac-Client (latest version): Meeting Series (-> Available Rooms) BUG?

When using the "Room Finder" for a meeting series in the Mac Outlook-Client I get to see available rooms - but for some reason after choosing an available meeting room and then sending out the meeting invitation we get a reply that there are several meeting dates where the room has been occupied by someone else and therefore the meeting room would not accept the meeting series and cancels all meeting slots (even the ones when the meeting room would be available).

Therefore it looks as this function does not really work (in the Mac client - on the web…

  14. Make email and calendar separate icons on Mac dock

Currently, you can open separate windows for your Calendar and Email, on the mac. However if you are working on another window, like Word, and want to jump back to either Mail or Calendar from the doc, the only icon visible is the Outlook. So you have to right click on the icon, then select inbox. It would be nice if there was one icon for calendar, one icon for mail, and I suppose other folks would like an icon for tasks.

  15. Auto-delete accepted meeting invites

We have storage restrictions on our office email and I'm constantly having to delete my trash and sent messages. It would be great if there was a preference to automatically delete everything meeting invite related. Once it's on my calendar I don't need it in my sent mail anymore either.

  16. sharing calendar

On outlook for Mac you cannot share a calendar by sending a mail to several attendees, thus you can use exchange mailing list (that you must expand for this to work).

You have to add them to the sharing permissions, but they won't receive a notification. You need to tell them separately send an email telling to do this
navigate to 'Tools'> Accounts> select the account to which the calendar is shared to> Advance> Delegates> select 'Open these additional mailboxes' and enter your email address to accept the shared calendars.

What a mess ! compare to receiving an invite that…

  18. Set the reminder time when creating an appointment

When making an appointment in the new outlook experience, there's no option to control the reminder time, which is something I often change depending on the type of meeting/appointment.

This is available in the Windows version of Outlook.

  19. Improve Calendar meeting experience for Outlook for MAC users

Users of Microsoft Exchange and Outlook 365 that share calendars with administrative assistants or just use multiple devices to manage their calendars have been challenged for years where:
-calendar appointments end up mysteriously disappearing
-cancelled appointments still remain on the calendar on some devices but not others
-recurring appointments get really screwed up
This problem happens most frequently when:
-users co-manage their calendars with others (administrative assistants, executive admins)
-or the user shifts between mobile phones, tablets, and desktop/laptops
    or a combination of both.
The bottomline issue is that two (or more) people or devices CANNOT modify/edit calendar appointments at…

  20. I suggest that events and meetings stored in the MacOS Calendar app should be able to fully integrated into Outlook for MacOS.

Users should be able to add/edit/delete events and meetings from their MacOS Calendar app in Outlook for MacOS.

Particularly in the case where .ics files can be imported for the events, Outlook for MacOS should fully support them just like it does on Windows.
