Please bring back the categories feature in Outlook for Mac.
It difficult to filter out the information while on the Calendar, Notes, Task or Contacts.
At least give the option to filter by Category on list view and collapse group like in Windows Outlook.

Allow me to set a meeting subject specific to my calendar
When I receive a meeting invite, the meeting originator does not always choose a subject that is easy to understand at a quick glance. I'd like to be able to set a meeting subject that only affects my view of the meeting. For example, a co-worker may invite me to a meeting with the subject "Call"; I'd like to change that on my calendar to be "Call with John regarding user interface error" and that change is only represented on my calendar (it doesn't affect my co-worker's invitation). Any updates that my co-worker sends to the meeting should keep the…

Add / Display Holidays
Really, you don't have holidays yet? Every calendar I use has the option to display holidays. Outlook for Mac is the only one that doesn't have this and this is what I use for business. Microsoft really confounds me and many other business people I know. You don't add some obvious features people use and can't be that hard to add.

Dim past days and events in outlook
at the moment, all days and events look exactly the same, regardless if that day/even has passed. By dimming any past days and events, the most relevant and pressing events will be highlighted and easy to recognize.

Allow editing of calendar invitation titles from other people
Previously, when receiving a calendar invite, I could rename the invite so that it was easy for me to quickly see what client was involved with the meeting. Now I am unable to edit the titles, and all of my meetings have similar titles (like GoToMeeting) requiring me to individually click into every calendar invite to see what the real subject of the meeting is.
When contacting support I was told the ability to change calendar invite titles was marked as a "bug" by developers and removed intentionally, but it's made my life miserable to have to constantly open every…

I suggest you add CalDav support to Outlook for Mac.
Corporate mail server is CalDave - whether we like it or not. Want to integrate in Outlook rather than using iCal!

Thanks for voting!
One alternative is to subscribe to iCloud calendar with your Exchange/O365 email accounts or any Outlook account, and then sync the same accounts in Outlook for Mac. See details:
