  1. Allow adjusting the size of the desktop Outlook inbox window.

My desktop Outlook inbox window cannot be shortened beyond a set point. I would like to make the window shorter so that I can have access to more of my screen area at the bottom of the window, to place a second window from another program in that space below the desktop version of the Outlook Inbox window. This seems to be a straight-forward issue. The user (me) simply needs a window size control that allows the window length (and width) to be shortened to a very small size, as is the case for most windows within the Mac OS.…

  2. Ability to Pin Emails to one another

At times, there are emails that are on different chains/thread/subject lines that are dependent upon one another. Provide the ability to 'pin' them together so the threads follow one another in conversations mode.

  3. Any way to srink JPEGs?

I cannot shrink my JPEGs to send in Outlook Emails. Has anyone found a workaround. ZIP Compression actually makes the file larger once it is sent.

  4. Enable an automation option to empy the rubbish folder

Enable an automated rule that would empty the Rubbish (previously Trash) folder. Pre-365 this option existed by enabling the check to delete the Rubbish upon closing the local client but I am not particular on the specs. Another way of doing this is add a mail folder rule set to the current message rule set.

  7. Fix search indexing so that search works properly

Outlook search for Mac is inconsistent and I constantly have to run the Outlook Search repair tool which has since broken from the last fast ring build.

  8. Always display the currently highlighted inbox message, rather than a message I just moved to an archive folder

When I move a message to a folder in my archives, the content of that message remains displayed in the reading pane rather than the message currently highlighted in my inbox. Even if I click on that highlighted message, its content is not displayed in the reading pane, why? Every time, I have to click on another message and back on the previously highlighted one to finally see what it contains, which is very tedious.

  9. Help menu with images that look like system

It would be helpful to have an image showing for instance the preference page with clickable links.
I'm trying to E-mail Address Validation information and the search feature shows thousands of options but not related to that preference

  10. People Pane

I'm still missing the People Pane in Outlook for Mac. Very often I'm looking for specific Mails from a special sender. People Pane is a good tool to find Mails and attachments.

  11. In Outlook 2016 for Mac, if you forward a meeting invite, the meeting invite/email is not listed in your Sent folder. This should show Sent.

In Outlook 2016 for Mac, if you forward a meeting invite, the meeting invite/email is not listed in your Sent folder.

This should show in the Sent email as proof that the meeting was shared out and record the time it was sent.

  12. fix text selection around a space

When you try to highlight text and click on the left side of a space and drag right, the word to the left of the selection point is highlighted as well. That doesn't make sense in most uses: if I am dragging to the left I am looking to work with that text, and if I drag to the right I am looking to work on that side. Using the space as the demarcation doesn't make logical sense. If I were to be starting a rage somewhere within the word, then I can understand the auto-selecting. But if I want…

  13. Upon reading email, please mark as read.

When I click on an email and read it, I expect the email to be marked as read. It is not.

Instead, when you close the email, it's marked read. This is not very intuitive.

  15. Make rules a lot more flexible

Improve rule syntax with AND and OR operations, wildcards for more general matching, and tiered approach for rule application.

  16. MAC OUTLOOK PLEASE STOP THE TRAVEL SCHEDULE SUMMARY PANE

Please STOP or have the option to REMOVE the Travel Schedule SUMMARY TAB on top of the MAC OUTLOOK. it takes up WAY TOO much room in the reading pane, and there is NO WAY TO TURN THAT OFF.

THAT IS RIDICULOUS. Please immediately STOP IT

  17. Create a rule to edit the delayed sending of emails

Create a rule, which applies to all emails sent on all devices. This rule allows you to select and edit a delayed time.

  18. Add a sent folder for shared email addresses.

Every time I send an email from the shared email, I have to manually cc otherwise my sent email will go into my personal folder and my coworker won't be able to see what I sent out. Please add a sent folder to shared email addresses on outlook.

  19. SCL and BCL column

SPAM is not as simple as a “yes” or “no” answer. Users should be able to add a column in Outlook to display the SCL and BCL values at a glance. Today it requires a good bit of knowledge and extra hoop jumping to examine the headers to get these details that can otherwise be very valuable to an end user trying to determine the value of an email.
